   We bought this to use with both a 2020 Ram 2500 and a 1984 Ford F250, both with turbo diesels. Once full charge, this pack had the capacity to jump our old school farm truck, therefore I feel confident that it would also jump our Ram. The unit is surprisingly light weight but is a bit larger than our other jump packs, therefore taking up more space in your trunk or backseat. While this unit works well, I took off one star because they claim the max tire pressure up to 150psi but this claim is a bit misleading. As you can see from the attached photo, “technically” this will provide pressure as high as 145psi, but that is ONLY if you set the device to bicycle mode. When it was in car mode, the highest we could force the unit to go was 51psi. While this will work fine for most “normal” tires, it isn’t a high enough max pressure for extra larger vehicle tires. Since this unit is specifically made to jump a diesel, there is more likelihood of that diesel being a larger, working class vehicle – therefore with larger tires that need a higher capacity. This unit is ruggedized plastic and I like that it includes an LED indicator if you connect the cables incorrectly. That gives a bit of piece of mind for either new users or when we just might not be paying enough attention. It supposedly also allows you to override the polarity so that you can jump a fully dead battery, which many cannot. We did not have a completely dead battery to test this. Overall, it’s a decent jump pack with all of the features that most have these days: USB-C output; USB 2.4a output; emergency flash light setting; air pump; cables; and carrying case. It also claims that it will function in extreme cold and heat conditions (which I cannot currently test). It is a bit higher priced than many but many of those cheaper models do not have the capacity to jump a diesel.

   No lie, I would buy this just because of Fido in the product description. His concern about keeping me out of prolonged pain following an accident is enough for me. Highly entertaining information from what I am assuming to be a translation to English. That said, I own more than one jump starter/battery pack, and I find this one to be on par with the rest so far. It has enough power to start my V8s, it charges quickly, the functionality is very straight forward. The flashlight will do a solid light, tap the button again it blinks “SOS” in Morse code, one more time for just a consistent blink. Definitely bright enough to get attention from approaching traffic. Couple things I’d like to see included at this price point is a bag or case to keep the cables and battery together, but that’s not enough of a negative to take away a star. Keeping the battery portion out and using it periodically is good for it versus charging it up and just throwing it in the trunk. It also didn’t come with a USB charger cable. Also not a big deal, because you probably have a pile of them. The first picture just makes you think you might be getting one. I commonly use the one I have in my car for my phone to top these off when I drive. Finally, the cables are about 25 inches across combined. So if your car is the kind that hides the battery away, your + and – connection points really need to be within 2 feet of each other in order for this to jump your car. I was a bit concerned when I saw how short they were, but it turned out to be fine for my car where the + is near the center of the dash and the – is on the strut tower.    Bought this on Black Friday deals and was the best purchase at the price got it for $80 it work as advertised would recommend but price went back to 150 ..still would pay that price small and powerful

   This jump pack is compact, but pretty strong. I really appreciate the quality of the cables. The wires are pretty thick and the clamps are big. It’s also pretty foolproof since it will give you a fault if you happen to put them on the wrong terminals. The battery capacity is 44 watt-hours, which makes it pretty comparable to a 4AH battery for a 12v cordless tool. Given the size, I think it will struggle with larger V6 and V8 engines, but it doesn’t seem to struggle with 4 cylinder engines. It is easy to keep in the glove box or console so you don’t get stranded by a dead battery. It’s definitely worth having on hand.
