   Update 5/18/2024 (purchase aug 2022) still had 0 issues with this. it indeed sat in my car for most the winter since i popped a trans and just rode with someone else. but since then, i have used this for probably 100 or more jumps (possibly 250/300 since purchase) and it still jumps several 12v vehicles on one charge. (it will still jump a 24v truck mind you. i just dont work at that place now. never the less. this is an update to state its still working. the price has gone up and it looks like the way its made (the way it looks) has changed. mine is “squared” on the edges. included an image of what the older style was. (this isnt the “big one”) Update oct 25th 2023 (1 year and some months later) the things STILL GOING STRONG and has sat in my car (half charged) through the heat, cold (northern Ohio winters) and Kentucky summers) still the thing lives on. I’ve jumped so SO many vehicles with this. I’ll never get jumper cables out when this is near! My only nag about it’s protection features is when a vehicle is started the thing constantly beeps and beeps and the rubber flap covering the ports. Without nails, or a sharp small object to open it then your struggling to get it. I haven’t dropped it without being in the case as well . But it’s still a small beast and so easy to use. Red to hot, black to ground. The case itself is a nice to have. Stores it, cables, and several other quick handy items like a wrench that unhooks your battery etc. I mentioned taken everywhere in my car, as I do with most tools. Considering it’s price has dropped it’s 100% worth getting the bigger one for ten bucks more! Also, about that “no battery no problem” it will not start four wheelers, quads, mowers etc this way. Not sure why. Maybe where a vehicle has an alternator which stores energy, I’m not to sure. But never the less, it will jump those things. They just need a battery. Update:Nov 14 2022 packs still going strong, I’ll add I’ve been able to test it alot more. Say ya got NO BATTERY? NO PROBLEM! (12v that is) this will fire the thing right up. Did 4 bmw e46s, and two s14s with rbs and turbos on em. This things amazing! UPDATE: for those wondering, if your “truck” takes two batteries or less then this SHOULD start it no issues. but if you have I.E. a military vehicle with 4 batteries or so, then this nor the biggest noco pack will do the job sadly even both at the same time will start it. never the less, for the 70 dollars this thing costs its a no brainer considering its size and what it can do! i 100% suggest getting one and ive always been suspicious of these. again not had long, but even on 1 little ol dot its got enough life to jump a 100% no “click, ding etc” v8 caddy. so dont go grabbing a noco… this thing does nearly as good as the 300.00 dollar noco. Can’t speak for how long it’ll last, but on the Power it came out the box with I was able to jump this ford diesel without issues. Did go from 3 dots down to 2 dots of life. But expected. Quite surprised honestly. Now, let’s see if it’ll jump another roughly the same in size.

Easy to use and works well when fully charged. I purchased an extra one for a friend and have told other people about the units capabilities. A very handy unit to have when you need a jump.

   I bought this on sale impulsively, thinking “well this would be good for an emergency.” Wouldn’t you know, my car battery died the next week (what are the odds, ugh) and this actually worked like a charm! It looked very intimidating at first, but as someone who doesn’t know much about cars I was able to use this just fine. The directions were clear, and I was able to get my car up and running. There is also a built in flash light, so that could be helpful for the evenings/nights. I haven’t needed to use the flashlight yet, so I cannot attest to it’s brightness. Be sure to CHARGE THE PORTABLE BATTERY out of the package before using it! It arrives out of the box with low battery for shipping, so it is super important to make sure that you charge it to full before being able to use it. Mine took about 2 hours for it to charge completely.

   TLDR; I don’t much about cars, I used it just fine and it worked! 🙂

   This item didn’t work the first time , I think because it was charged at 4/5 on the meter. After taking it inside and charging for a little bit longer, I took it outside and it did Jumpstart my 4Runner. It does make me wonder though how many times this will actually work before having to plug it in again because it says it can jump so many times with only being charged once but if only one battery light was missing out of the five and it didn’t jump my forerunner that time it doesn’t seem like it would work in the future if it’s already been used. I don’t want that part and leave myself stranded so fingers crossed I don’t need it. Charging port is a bit cheap and there are a lot of output plugs, but will need the one cheap input to charge it.

   A buying point for me was that it listed a storage bag as part of the item. It is listed in the description and when you scroll to the very bottom. It displays a storage bag. The manual in the package doesn’t list a storage bag as part of the package. It also claims to be 2000A but it’s only 1500A.
