   The jumper pack appears very heavy duty. It is almost 30lbs in weight. If you have a 24 volt requirement, this would be the jumper pack for you. On my carbon pile tester, it performed well. I did use it to jumpstart my GM Envoy SUV 4.2l and it was able to do so, but I think because the clamps were not mounted securely on my side-mount style battery posts, it didn’t perform as well as I thought it would. Since then, I have modified the clamps to allow easier access to side-mount battery posts. Some things to note: The pack doesn’t have the normal ON/OFF switch because you use the Anderson style connections on the back to select 12/24-volt operations. You also have to have the plug on the 12v side to charge the unit. You can’t use the 12volt accessor and the USB ports at the same time because it uses a three-way toggle switch. The clamps are all plastic with a jumper wire between the teeth. The resting voltage on the 12v side is about 13.5 volts. The charger runs at over 15 volts and 1 Amp. I wouldn’t recommend leaving it plugged in all the time or putting it on a timer to charge. The manual was a bit confusing as the pages were printed out of order, but you can figure it out.

   I have a 31 year old vehicle. I ordered this jump starter to keep on hand in case I ever need it. Fortunately I have not had to use this to jump start it yet. However I have read over the directions and feel confident that when I do have a need for it, It will be user friendly and reliable. This jump starter has all the bells and whistles you could want or need. I love the built in bright LED light because in the past the times that I have seemed to need a jump start the most have been after I left my lights on while I was at work all day and I come out to a dead battery either in the dark or as it is getting dark.I like the temperature adaptability aspect because I can keep this in my car at all times and not worry if the temperature fluctuation of the inside of my car may be too much for it. I also like that this product is not too bulky and does not take up a ton of space while keeping it in my car at all times.
