   This review is for the E-Ant COCY-023 Vehicle Jump Starter. This unit is designed for 12V batteries and provides 3000A peak current. I think the peak current is listed incorrectly at 3500A in the description title and accurately in the product images at 3000A. In the box comes the jump starter, smart clamp, USB-A to USB-C charging cable, hard-shell carrying case and instructions. Out of the box my jump starter had 75% charge. It’s recommended that this unit be used with 50% or above. I ordered this because I wanted to take it on road trips and not have to depend on others for a jump start if that was needed. As it turned out my daughters car had a depleted battery a week or so after I go this unit. It was the perfect test scenario for this review. I powered on (side toggle) the device, connected the smart clamp to the jump starter unit, connected the positive and negative clamps to the battery terminals, and started the engine. It took two tries but worked perfectly. I’ve since replaced that battery because my daughter is a new’ish driver and I can’t have her dealing with this situation again if I can avoid it. The jump starter unit has a USB-C input for charging and that takes around 4-5 hours from zero to full charge. It also has 2x USB-A ports with one providing 5V/2A and the other 5V/3A output. So if need be, you can charge your phone or other devices in a desperate roadside situation. It also has an LED light built in. Hold down the power button for roughly 2 seconds to turn it on. Overall, this is a great product that has already proven useful to me and my family. At less than $60 it’s an excellent deal. This unit will definitely bail you (or maybe someone else in need) out of a bad situation when others aren’t around to help you. Or maybe if you’re like me and just want to be self reliant. I absolutely recommend this product. 5/5 stars.

   This is a very portable charger that can also jump start a small to medium sized car. I have used the charging functions ant it works well for that. I haven’t had a chance to jump start anything as my car now has a trickle charger after the battery went flat and I couldn’t get to work one day. This would be easy enough to keep in the back of the car, my only concern is that summer can result in temperatures over 60 degrees Celsius in a car, and apparently that is potentially dangerous for lithium polymer batteries.

   Everyone should keep a car jumper in their emergency kit. This one works great. Very simple and straightforward to use. Small, but mighty. Would make a great gift for new drivers.

   This is a great size for storing in the glove box. I found the idea of this great, being a power bank for your phone and a torch for emergencies. I haven’t been able to try out the jump start feature yet since I have gotten this for emergency to store in the car. The power bank works well. It’s not super fast charging but good for emergency situation if you have nothing else.

   Geta the job done and works really well when it’s needed. It’s not the most powerful jump starter, but it’s really good for this price. It’s also very easy to use and easy to keep store in a car. The battery life lasts long enough when not I use that it will be enough to save your batteries life in an emergency.

   This is a great idea; it’s a battery jump starter with no need for a second car. I actually had to use it a week ago on a co-worker’s car and I came out looking like a hero lol. This was very simple to use, just plug in the jumper cables, connect them to the battery and turn the key. It’s that easy. The battery pack also has 2 USB-A output ports and 1 USB-C input port. It also has a built-in flashlight, which is very handy to use if you have to jump start a car in the dark. You also get a nice hard shell carry case to store everything in and throw in the back of your car. All in all, this is a great emergency car kit. Works very well.

   I’m keeping this in the car and occasionally using it as an emergency USB powerbank. I leave it in the boot and charge it up occasionally, self discharge rate seems ok. I think the plastic case is where it falls down a little, I would trust a metal case much more but the plastic seems strong and is probably just as good realistically. The clamps work well, strong clamping force but not too hard to use/open. Overall it seems decent quality and the power functions I’ve tested all work well. Happy with it and I appreciate the peace of mind that comes with it.

   I got this, and although I though it would be forever before I needed it, I had to use it to start my truck that had been sitting unused for too long. The battery had gone dead after sitting for a few months with an item plugged into the non-accessory 12vdc outlet in the ashtray.

   It was easy to use, and only took a few minutes to give that battery enough charge to turn over and start. I can see it’s true value now.

   Highly recommend you pick one up. It can save your bacon in a pinch.

    This is a great device that adds 2 new functions to a plain Car Jump starter.
    One being the USB charging capability allowing to be used as a phone charger and also power USB powered devices.

    Two being the 2 emergency lighting features. The first being a fast strobing flash and the second an SOS light signal. Ingenious and thoughtful. (check review video upload)
    Have used once to jump start a minibus. It worked the very 1st time and am very impressed.
