   Needed to use it for the first time tonight. Could not get it to work. Tried again using “boost” button, but couldn’t find it. Got the jumper out of my wife’s car that is a different brand; was able to start my car using that units boost button. Later, in the house, under full light and careful review of the user manual, I found the boost button. It is a tiny red dot that you have to insert a paperclip or pen tip into to use. Yet, no little tool to do so is provided. So, you’ll need to add your own tool tot he carry case and hope you can see well enough when you have to jump your car to find the tiny boost button. Very poor design. Would have bought a different brand had I realized this about the boost button. (For those not aware- if a battery won’t start jumping it with these units, you try again using the boost button. In my experience, the boost button has been needed almost every time I’ve used these units. So to have it be tiny and require a separate tool to use is a very poor design. )

   I own a Harley Heritage Classic motorcycle and the battery is recessed and impossible to reach using the clamps. So I purchased a 10 AWG O-ring to EC5 battery extension cable [1.5’] [such as https://www.ezysurvival.com.com/gp/product/B088R29RM5/%5D which plugs into the clamps socket. I attached the cable to the battery terminals and tucked the cable away under the seat. Voilà! It is now conveniently ready to be jumped by this battery pack. A previous battery jumper I had purchased used a non-standard EC5 plug, so I returned it. This item happily uses a standard EC5 plug for it’s clamps. The pack is light weight, compact in size and comes with a convenient carry case. Instructions were clear, except for where the override/bypass switch is located. They don’t call it out in the diagram; a careful inspection is required to identify it.

   And so far it’s performed starting my car (after it sits for a couple or more days unused) easily and perfectly for the 460 V8 it is! The only thing that is cheesy is the compass. It like came out of a gumball machine. They may have well just left it off the body of the jump starter. It’s useless and totally inaccurate. But the rest of it I really like. And it comes with the charger for you to recharge it…..without having to buy one for additional monies adding to the cost of it. Great deal right here.
