   Over the past year I have tested many jumpers. I test everyone of them on the same engine and battery. A dead battery with about 1.2 volts and a Ford 351 modified 5.8 liter V8. Some will start it 6 times on a full charge and some won’t even start it. I took this one straight out of the box with 26% charge. I hooked it to the battery with only 1.19 volts. The van has been sitting and not started in 3 months. I pressed the button and got the count down. I turned the key and it started right up like it had a new battery in it. I left it connected for about 2 minutes and it climbed from 20% all the way to 100%. I have lots of jumpers but this is my first large supercapacitor jumper. I am just amazed at what this thing can do. It is simple too. There are battery cables and a button. That’s it. This is something you can put in your kids or wife’s car for emergency and they will have no problem figuring it out. It just works. A lot of the older jumpers had lead acid batteries that went bad after 2 years. These small ones push the circuits to the limits. This one is made for constant use. Well worth checking this one out.

   Takes forever to charge via USB but I wouldn’t charge anything overnight ,.even my ear buds, so charge it during your waking hours just in case.

   That being said ,the instructions are terrible, also ,many reviews here don’t understand that this isn’t a normal battery charger, this uses whatever charge is left in your battery and shoots it back into your battery, well that’s my understanding.

   Check youtube videos on how it works,and make sure you understand what the buttons actually do like the black button and the green button because its very confusing and manual doesn’t explain it .

   Cords could be longer . Plus it doesn’t hold charge for weeks.

   Only get if there’s a huge discount or sale,otherwise stay away.

   Love this thing! I’ve been waiting to try this on a dead car. The problem is I’ve replaced all of my batteries fairly recently. As luck would have it, my zero turn needed a jump. This unit charged up quickly from the low battery. When it was at 100% I pushed the button and it gave me the boost I needed to start my mower up. It delivered more cranking power than my portable battery jumper ever did. I’m glad I bought this to keep in my vehicle instead of jumper cables.

   This jump starter is very convenient because it doesn’t require charging, so you don’t have to worry about it losing power if left unused for a long time. It works efficiently and reliably to start a car. I also appreciate its delayed activation design—after connecting, it counts down from 6 seconds before discharging, giving you time to get into the vehicle and start the engine.

   Having this tool in your garage or home can be very helpful when your car battery runs out. You could also keep it in your car, though it’s a bit heavy. Just make sure to find a secure way to store it so it doesn’t move around in the trunk while driving.

   The people writing bad reviews think this unit has a battery. It does not have a battery. It a capacitor. Capacitors do charge kinda like a battery but they dump all their energy in a fast release. This unit gives a 25 second release of energy which should be long enough to start your vehicle. The capacitor doesn’t need to be stored fully charged like a battery jumper. A low car battery will charge your capacitor in less than 5 minutes. Jump your vehicle and put it away. Unlike a battery, this capacitor jumper should last much longer than battery chargers because batteries go bad over time. How often to you replace the capacitor on your pool pump or your AC unit? Thousands of starts every year. You’re going to be mighty upset if you plug this in and charge it like a battery pack. It doesn’t need to be stored with a full charge. The concept of capacitor jump starters takes some understanding about capacitors. But if you think it will behave like a battery, you’ll just write a poor review and send it back. The only draw back would be those who like to charge their phones or iPads like battery chargers do. This is NOT A BATTERY.

   This is a powerful tool that works great. It is also super easy to use if you take the time to learn and understand this device. Let me say up front this unit absolutely needs longer leads. Cars and trucks today can make it all most impossible to reach battery connections. Now I’ve seen other reviews commenting on how it takes so long to get it charged and it loses its power pretty quickly. This unit is not a battery. Now it does have a small battery for the display and the controls you’ll notice it says precharging is not necessary. This unit utilizes 6 high capacity slow discharge capacitors to do its magic. A capacitor does charge but it is much faster than a battery and it stores more power, until a predetermined event happens and the capacitor begins to rapidly discharge with everything it has. Now multiply this times 6 and that’s how this booster works. Capacitors lose do not retain or hold a charge like a battery does. This is a durable tool that is capable of an almost unlimited number of charge/discharge cycles compared to a battery that is only capable of a certain number of cycles if the conditions are ideal. Temperature extremes greatly affect batteries but have no affect on capacitors. The little display can be hard to read in daylight. I get this is a high dollar item but it should last in theory forever. So in the long run I’d say it’s a good value.
