    After I found a powerstrip that had an operating USB port to charge it, I was amazed at how easy it is to jump start my car now. I am putting my jumper cables into storage. I don’t have any need for them now! I jumped my car several times, and a couple of times for my neighbor. It is still fully charged! My neighbor wants me to buy him one. And I intend to do that! Tow truck companies will not jump you and their tools are ancient! Stop calling tow trucks for a jump! For the cost of this product, I have saved quite a bit and then some. Buy this jumper box. You won’t be disappointed! I promise!

    This was given a four stars because I have NOT used it to jump start a car at the time I wrote the review.
    Out of the this unit seemed well made, as well made as other similar items I have bought. So far I have not had to use it to start a vehicle, but have used for a short time, to see if it worked, on a rechargeable desk light and a small fan. Both have a USB-C plug. When I need to jump start a vehicle I will update this review.

    My husband’s car had a flat 12v battery yesterday morning and I ordered this device from ezysurvival.com around 11am. By 7pm it had arrived and we used it this morning to bump start the car – super easy to use, good small instruction manual.
    When it first arrived I made sure to charge it up to 100% (it came 75% charged which would have been just fine but I wanted to be on the safe side.)
    It took literaly 30 seconds to check the battery, which was low, and to press the “boost” button. This started the car straightaway and enabled him to take our son to school. This is such a useful tool because you never know when you will need it and there may not be another car around to assist with a charge.
    We will see how the battery is this afternoon while I work out buying a replacement 12v battery!

    Great 60 sale price for this size. Specs say 6 Ah @ 14.8V (88Wh) which is comparable to a large 20V drill battery. The temperature spec say operating 4-122F and charging 32-131F. It should be taken out of the car in below 0 weather or risk damage. It also says not to use it below 3 bars or 75%.
    The output spec is 900A for 1 sec or 500A for 3 sec even tho it’s obvious that the little connectors and wires would melt at much lower current. It’s not a welder folks and will never go above 50A instantaneous. It’s the capacity in Watt-hours that matters.
    It is hefty compared to my old 33Wh one that started to bulge and didn’t hold a charge like it used to. The storage bag seems fine and it did come with a USB-C charger and 12V socket that should work with a small tire pump, radio or LED strip light.
    Update –
    I have now used both the 12V adapter with a tire pump and used the jumper. Added about 5 PSI to all four 235/60R18 tires and had to jump twice to get it running. Decided to recharge it after that. Glad I had it.
    I’ve used the USB-A 5V/12V PD port to charge a laptop. It’s a great feature to have.

    Everyone needs to have a jump starter battery in their vehicle, even if it’s not this one. I saw a driver approach the front of a parked car in the Walmart parking lot a couple of nights ago. Each vehicle owner popped their hoods, and then I saw the jumper cables come out. It used to be such a sickening feeling when my car died. I learned to always have jumper cables on me, but finding a stranger in the area to help leaves you feeling so vulnerable. A jump starter battery is a peace of mind investment. It’s mandatory for each vehicle in the household to have one now. The AstroAI S8 Ultra Jump Starter Battery Pack is similar in size to others that we already own. This one has simple charge indicator lights for 25, 50, 75, and 100% fully charged. That’s really all you need to know. Other batteries may feature the exact percentage on a large digital display, which is nice, but not necessary. This one has a rugged outer plastic housing that looks like it can take some rough handling. It’s rated IP65 water resistance to endure rain and splashed, but not immersion. There are a few ports covered with a silicone tabs for protection. One port is for the battery clamps to plug in. Red clamp goes to the positive vehicle battery terminal and the black to the negative. You may need to press the boost button for your particular vehicle. Once connected and ready, you can attempt to start your dead vehicle. Please note that you need to charge the jumper battery fully first. You may get a few jumps off of its charge if you are on a trip, but I always recharge it fully as soon as I get a chance. Other ports provide power via USB charging for your devices, as well as recharging this battery itself. One USB-A to USB-C cable plus wall charger are provided for charging the battery. A power out port and car power adapter (cigarette lighter power) allow you to power items like a tire air compressor. There is a flashlight with strobe and SOS modes. Sometimes, it’s not a dead battery but a flat tire that needs to get changed. The flashlight is a nice feature to search a dark trunk for tools and illuminating your workspace. A thin drawstring pouch keeps the batteries and accessories all in one place. Other jumper batteries I own come with a nicer soft-shell zippered case, which I would have preferred. While the battery can take some jostling, I feel like the accessories need better protection. For now, I’m keeping everything in the original sturdy box.
