I keep this in the family mini-van for emergency jump starts (for us and others). It has shown to have plenty of strength to jump start 2 to 3 cars effortlessly without recharging. I have bought “jump boxes” before and have been disappointed that they have lost their charge while stored. The AUTOONE Jump Starter so far seems to retain its charge very well. I also like the USB ports enabling one to charge mobile phones and other devices in a pinch. The handy zippered storage case for the jump starter and all accessories is very much appreciated as well. I highly recommend this product.

Shortly after receiving it, I used this unit to jump start a large Land Cruiser three times in as many days on the original charge the unit came with (it was showing three of four bars when received) and I didn’t even see the charge level indicator drop. It’s compact, light and far more convenient than my last three lead-acid jump starters. Its ability to double as a USB power brick and flashlight is a nice bonus (particularly living in a city where weather-related power outages are not uncommon). I can’t judge durability yet, but the unit seems well-made. I’ll plan to update this review if any issues arise.
