   We needed something a little bit stronger in case we had trouble starting the car in colder weather, however our current jump starter is 1500A for a 6.0L car. While both starters can charge an external item (such as a phone), only this one has the power to perform a power-directed charge, which results in a far faster charging pace. Additionally, the 4000A on this unit provides plenty of power left over for further jumpstarting our automobile. Another benefit is that it can jumpstart a larger truck up to 10.0L, which will help us get out of a tight spot if we ever find ourselves in a situation where the battery on a rented truck dies. To demonstrate the item as we received it, I have included a few pictures. Although the accompanying case has a sizable mesh pocket on the inside, the cable does have a tendency to fall out when the case is closed. I wish the mesh pocket had a zipper closure, like the case for my other jump starter. The beginning unit is face and display are shielded by a soft flap, but I think it should use additional padding.

   This is a pro-quality jumper system that actually started a diesel tug boat engine with ease ! Takes a good while to charge – it arrived 81% and took a few hours to reach 100% using a small phone usb-c wall adapter. Not an issue as it works incredibly well and is highly recommended !

   This is our second jumpstarter, because after loving our first one so much – we wanted one for each car. At the time of this listing, a coupon was running that put this pricing almost equal to a unit that is far less powerful. What we received for that value definitely exceeded our expectations. Our existing jumpstarter is 1500A for a 6.0L car, but we wanted something just a bit more powerful in the event we struggled to start the car in colder weather. Both starters offer the ability to charge an external device (like a phone), but only this unit is powerful enough for a power-directed charge resulting in a much faster charging speed; and the 4000A on this unit leaves plenty of leftover power for additionally jumpstarting our car. The other perk is that this will jumpstart a larger truck up to 10.0L so if we ever found ourselves with a dead battery on a rental truck, this will get us out of a jam. I’m including some photos to show the unit as we received it. The inside mesh pocket on the included case is generous, but the cable does tend to fall out when closing it (I wish it had a zipper closure for the mesh pocket like my other jumpstarter’s case). There is a soft flap that protects the face/display of the starter unit, but it could be more padded for my liking. The unit itself has a digital readout to let you know how much battery life is left in the jumpstarter, and there is also a button on the face that allows you to enable a bright light that can display a solid, or fast-blink (strobe), or a slow pulse pattern lighting if you need some extra lighting while hooking up the cables or for safety. I definitely recommend this, because you just never know when you may need a jumpstart. We had some negative temperature weather, and this year was challenging because working from home means that you don’t exercise your car’s battery as often as you once did. Our other starter helped in a pinch, but this one will give us a bit more confidence and power when traveling or navigating these frigid temperatures. I included some photos to show the specification details of the ports also and the information on the back of the unit.
