   Good product. I’ve used it to jump start multiple vehicles (one being a diesel). It started the diesel truck quickly and easily. I have purchased 3 of AVAPOW jump starters already. Their products just work. One of the jump starts was delivered with a bent cable where it connects to the box. It was really tight to connect. It had me questioning the longevity since I felt it would be a matter of time before the end connector broke off. AVAPOW customer service made it right. I recommend their products since they have already gotten me out of a bind.

   Bought it 10 months ago. Use it to jump my 2012 forester today. Does not work at all. I ends up using an old fashion jumper cable with another car to jump start.
   Update:
   AVAPOW support reached out to offer a full refund or replacement. I chose replacement. The replacement is a new model with 5 years warranty. This new model has a forced to start button which is what I need. The old one simply refuses to charge, with the new model I should be able to force start. Haven’t get a chance to use it yet. But I do appreciate their support’s effort, hence I update the rating to 4 stars.
   Update: I have a chance to try the replacement today. It works if I use forced start button.

   Great buy. This product is very portable yet very powerful. I bought this for my Ford F150 and it works like a charm. I did have a problem with the electronics in the cables which caused the unit to not work properly. The company replaced the cable unit free of charge even though I had this for over 2 years. The customer service was great even though it is an off shore brand. I was pleasantly surprised when dealing with them and would definitely recommend this product. I would purchase this product again.

   When I first got this thing I was very impressed. First try, hooked it up and bam fired right up. I used it several times as we have a small fleet of 7 vehicles but with our clients who often need a jump we have more. The last few times I’ve tried to use it, it just won’t jump anything off. It says it’s 100 percent charge but it won’t work. I paid nicely for it and it would be nice if it lasted longer than it did. Less than a year.

   Updated: Customer service sent me another model with a boost function. I waited about two weeks to try the product. You may not always find a car to jump-start when you need it. Anyway, two days ago in the evening, a friend of mine called me and asked if I had a jumper cable. I went to help him quickly. My friend was expecting to see a jumper cable. When he saw that this small device could start the car, he asked me, “Are you sure this will start my car?” I set up the connections confidently and asked him to start the car, and it started immediately. The Awapow jump-started the car without any issues. I had the pleasure of helping my friend thanks to the Awapow jump starter. I strongly recommend this jump starter to those who are mostly alone or who don’t want to call road assistance and spend a lot of money, perhaps more than the value of the jump starter. The customer service is great. I purchased Avapow 4000A model after I saw there was a good discount with gift card. When a friend of mine asked help from me for a dead car battery, I’ve experienced that, there is no way to start dead battery. It may save you in most cases, but not when the battery is completely dead. In the manual nothing about boost function.

   Simple and works as stated. Small and lightweight in case w\ battery jump cables , charge cord , and instructions. Had to start a 2001 6.8ltr. V10 , 1) turn unit on 2) plug in jump cables 3) connect jump cables to battery 4) start vehicle 5) disconnect battery jump cables within 30 seconds. My unit still displayed 100% charge after jump. I was a little worried about previous comments about no charger sent with unit , not a big deal . They do send a type C cable both ends , but any phone turbo charge cube with type C end will work. My unit arrived at 76% state of charge, I connected my phone charger to unit and reached full charge in 25 minutes. It provides peace of mind when traveling remotely. My 1 concern is previous reviews stating it won’t start completely dead battery . The smart jump cables won’t allow unit to jump battery.

    I have had this jump box for about a year and have jumped a lot of vehicles with it. It hasn’t failed on me except for one time. I believe what caused this was the box being dead, but it displays the percentage of charge, however it had never shown lower than 99% on mine yet I’ve jumped a bunch of batteries. I believe the indicator is useless. Besides that, no complaints. Compact, easy to use and pretty powerful. Not sure if I would buy the same one next time though, battery life indication is very important for obvious reasons.
