   I was using it to inflate tires on my suburban and I could only use it for two and then the battery was too low to top off the other two. I don’t know why it won’t inflate the tires after the battery is at 50% but it seems pretty useless to me.

   For a few years, I have been using the Battery Tender battery maintainer while away in the winter. Both vehicles started every time upon returning, so when I saw this combo Battery Tender jump starter and tire inflator, I had to grab it! The first thing I did was make sure it started with a full charge, I then checked my SRX tires and this hit them right on and stopped. The onboard tire gauges read identical to each other, gas station pumps never did! I threw it in the back of the car just in case I needed a jump, I haven’t yet, but, this is a big but…. I was working on digging some more footers for our new home. John jumped into the track hoe first thing in the AM and it would not even try to crank over. I told him to hold on, I’ll grab the jump starter I just got, on to it. When I came over to clamp it on, he smirked and said no way that was going to jump this piece of heavy equipment. We’ll see! Gave it a second, and told him to try starting it, it cranked immediately and started, with no hesitation. He was so impressed, he is buying one now!

   The battery tender combo kit comes with the machine, jumper cables with a very short cord, tire inflation cord and a few inflation attachments for various items and a soft fabric case that holds everything together in 1 easy location. The machine is very easy to charge and very easy to use. Power it on, choose the inflation level, attach the cord and then press the start inflation button. It inflates quickly and auto shuts off when it reaches the programmed inflation level. We check the tire pressure and it had inflated the tire to precise amount. This is a nice quality machine and I like that everything fits inside of the case. The only downside is that you have to put things in the case perfectly to get it zipped back up and can be a bit of a hassle to get the stuff to fit back inside, but it is compact and not overly heavy. I can easily hold the machine with 1 hand. I have not had the need to use the jumpstarter, but the battery has remained fully charged for well over a month and still shows 100%, so that is really nice.
