   Very nice quality flashlight battery pack. We haven’t used it as a jump starter but the light and battery pack features work great! I like that we’ll always have a back up battery in the car if we need. It’s a compact size and nice weight to it, the red is easy to find in the car.

   This device is handy to have in your car as long as you make sure to keep it charged and be mindful of the flashlight switch. For the price I will stick with the ‘name’ brand that includes tire pump capability.
   I can see this being useful for camp gear or backup emergency.

   This is a rather unique battery pack. I’ve had a couple of these car jumper batteries over the last decade or so. They’ve proven their worth time and time again when my car won’t start on cold mornings or a family member’s battery is on the way out and they’ve not gotten a new one yet. I got this one because of the unique shape. Most of the ones I’ve used are shaped like thick candy bars – traditional battery pack shape. They just happen to have a connector for the jumper cables (and sometimes a “boost” button for if the normal connecting doesn’t do the job). Note that at 6000mah this is on the lower end of the capacity scale – it’s about 1.5-2x the capacity of a typical phone. The directions recommend charging every few months to ensure it’s up to par – probably a good idea since there’s not as much spare capacity in this as compared to one with 10k, 15k, or 20k mah. I do like the flashlight. It puts out roughly 100lm – about 1/8 of a normal 60w-equivalent light bulb. This is directed though, so it’s plenty for general walking or tinkering with a tire (or the battery cables in the dark). It’s not going to illuminate a scene, but it’ll give you light where you need it. On the bottom there’s a flip-off cap that covers the jumper cable connector and single USB-A (regular USB) and USB-C ports. It seems that the USB-C is only for charging, while the USB-A is intended for charging your devices in a pinch. It does not appear that the USB-C port can do both in and out. The cable that comes with this is USB-A to USB-C, so it should still work – you can use it to charge the battery from any USB-A port or charge your USB-C device from this battery. Using a USB-C to USB-C cable will probably not work, but your cable may be different enough from mine. This is a negative as compared to more expensive charger/jumpers – most of them have multiple USB ports and/or allow USB-C in and out. I didn’t knock off a star because device charging/power bank use is not what I got this for – but keep that in mind if you plan on it being more than an emergency item in the trunk. All in all it’s a nice decent little jumper/charger/light – but not a standout in any of the categories. I do like that it claims to start larger engines though – some of the other cheaper ones can only do small cars, so this is an improvement there.

   Finally, a jumper box that doesn’t look like a brick. This is a nice form factor – big flashlight shape. It feels a little light or hollow so they could have made it smaller (or, made the flashlight part be more than a novelty as it only has 1 little LED chip in it) but it works. My only real complaint is the lack of ability to store the jump leads with the flashlight – if you plug them in, it starts trying to jump and will run the battery down, and if you don’t plug them in they will get lost. Wish they included a clip or something other than a cheap sack.
