   So this actually works great as a small compressor to fill your vehicle tires. I have a Dodge Charger and it worked great to fill my tires. Doesn’t take long to fill the tire either. Nice digital display and different settings to keep air setting saved. It also has a light with flash and SOS mode and they are bright and visible from a distance. Now as a jump start it didn’t work on my battery. I was at my Dr. and left my light on, I was there a few hours and my car battery died. I used this to try to jump start it and my battery completely drained the jump starter from a FULL charge and still wasn’t able to give enough juice to crank my car. Luckily someone gave me a jump and I was good. When I got home I was expecting to have to charge the portable jump starter but when I plugged it in it showed 3 of the 4 charging bar and fully charged after about 10 minutes. I don’t know if it was because my vehicle battery is large but it wasn’t strong enough to start it. I gave it 3 stars because of the other functions but definitely not something to rely on for my vehicle.

   It worked great for inflating my car tires.
   After one use to jump my car it started acting up; reading the air pressure wrong, scrambling numbers and the battery drains faster. I still use it because it works for inflating but I had to buy a independent air pressure reader for precise inflation.

   After my car’s low tire pressure indicator light lit up while in the middle of Utah’s Canyonlands (30 miles from the nearest town), I realized I needed an emergency air compressor. Sure, I had the temporary spare tire but those are only good for a limited number of miles. The combination of a Lithium battery jump started and air compressor seemed like a perfect emergency device to keep in the trunk of the car. Based on the specs, this product should not have any problem jump starting the car if (or should I say “when”) the battery goes dead. While I’m not concerned that the Lithium battery won’t have enough juice for the jump, I am concerned that the 10AWG cables are not thick enough to handle the power that may be required to jump the car battery. I wish the cables were at least 8AWG. Something else to note is the cable length is fairly short; long enough to connect to the two battery posts but I typically like to connect the ground to the chassis ground so this may limit my options. The pump is perfect for emergencies. It inflates at 15 PSI/minute and that’s fine if you just need to top off the tire. Even if you’re tire is low, say 20 PSI, and you want to overfill it to say 50PSI just to get you down the road while it’s leaking, that will only take two minutes and that sure beats being stranded. One feature that I really like on the pump is you can set the maximum pressure and the pump will automatically turn off when it reaches that pressure. Built into the device is a light and USB port that can be used to charge your phone. Note: A USB charger wall plug is not included in the product, but a USB to USB-C cable is included for charging the device. This is one of those products that you hope to never use, and you also hope it works if you do need it. Based on what I’ve seen so far, I’m confident it will work when and if required, and I will be keeping it in the trunk of my car (I also plan on taking it out twice per year just to make sure the Lithium battery is charged).

    Includes: – Battery Pack/Pump unit w/USB-C in for unit charging & USB-A (legacy) for charging a device – Jump-start alligator-clamp adapter cables – USB-C charging cable – Air nozzle – Air nozzle adapters – instructions – cinch-bag for transportation (fits everything handily) This is a small-footprint battery pack rated at a peak of 1000amp (500amp consistent), so while it will jump-start a smaller car handily and repeatedly (3, 4 or 6 cylinders), and it did whip over my V8 Mustang handily, you may only get a few boosts to the bigger engines/diesels without a full recharge as my unit lost one of four bars after a single start. With the bigger V8s or diesel trucks a higher peak 1700amp-3400amp provides a better level of repeat certainty on those. That said, it does compete very well with the other brands whose peak rating is often less than the 1000amp peak of this unit. The instructions are small print but easy to follow. My device came charged only to one of four bars, so you WILL need to charge it fully right away (allow for an hour or more). The pump works well but understandably a little slow – still plenty for a typical car or truck tire. The emergency light is VERY bright and more than adequate. The single function button is relatively easy to use once you get used to the short-press long-press method of navigating and selecting. Overall, this is a well designed, easy to use, compact and yet powerful device for adding security to traveling in your car, and it is priced competitively aside other bulkier and lower amp-rated analog units. A great value!
