Much recommended for cold winter if you need a jump starter to perform. Almost 6 months in cold weather performed well.

These are great little battery boosters. I bought this product because my old v8 pickup was becoming untrusrworthy. When i recieved it i charged it for 24 hours using the included 120 charging cable. A few months later i needed it to boost my v8. Worked like a charm and the battery inicator still read full. I ended up putting it in storage bevause i got a new pickup and didnt see the need to carry it around. 2 years later my second vehicles (a 6 cylinder jetta my girlfriend drives) battery died stone dead (lights left on in the winter). When i pulled it out of my storage unit i was amazed to see the battery indicator still read full. It sat in that unheated storage unit for 2 alberta winters and still read full. I hooked it up to my car and it started like nothing with the battery indicator showing 1 bar less after the boost. This cheap little booster pack has blown my mind and i have bought a second one she can keep in my car

I used this product once so far to jump start my Polaris ranger and it worked great. The only downfall is that the positive and negative clamps are too big and bulky to actually physically attach to the small posts. I used my regular cables to attach to the post then attached them to the Clore and it started right up. I believe for an automobile battery you will not have this issue. Overall I am very satisfied with product.

It’s a really good charger. I use it for my 03 Malibu which currently has a battery drain issue that the mechanics have not been able to diagnose. On some days I use this charger 3 or 4 times and it holds up well. I can easily get the car started 6 or 7 times on a single charge — I can probably do a few more, however I don’t let it fully drain. The built in light comes in really handy at night. It’s very light and portable and to be honest, I wasn’t sure it could be useful when I saw its size, but it performs better than bigger chargers I’ve tried.
The only reason it loses a star (half a star if I could have) is the fact the clamps plastic grip extend out to where the metal teeth are, which I believe was done for safety, but can make getting a good grip on your battery terminals a bit trickier. Not a dealbreaker, but would rather have the teeth exposed on both sides. (This is the only good picture I could find that explains what I mean: http://www.veotag.com/images/jumpncarryjnc300xl-2.png )

I keep this as a backup to jumpstart my boat, which is 175hp 6 cylinder. It did the job the few times I’ve had to use it, although you have leave it attached for a minute or two until you can turn over the motor. It’s good for about four or five 10 second cranks before the power starts to wane. It’s relatively small and light compared to other jumpstarters.
