   I bought this as a gift to my daughter. Unfortunately, (not really) I ended up keeping it for myself. The day it arrived I inspected the box and its contents before charging it overnight. As luck would have it, my car wouldn’t start the next morning. My granddaughter was playing in my car while I was cleaning it and left the back seat map lights on. After stressing for a minute, I remembered the jump box. I hooked it up and the car started right up. Barely used any of the charge from the box too. Only about 15%, so you could get several jumps before needing to charge again. My only gripe is that the battery cables are a bit short. My group 96r battery was close to the limit of its range. Granted, I was in a rush and may have been able to position it better, but it will serve my needs. I will be buying one each for my daughter and son’s cars.

   Bought a 2nd one of these gizmos to keep in each car. Had the first one for a couple years now and it holds charge well when unused for a long time. You know? Like when you are most likely to need the damn thing. Have used it to jump start a friend in need even after kids abusing it on long car rides to top off a pair of ipads along the way.

   I keep one of these jump starters in each of my vehicles as well as my boat. These have saved me from needing a jump start from another person and stringing jumper cables between vehicles. I have also used them to jump start other people’s vehicles and boats. You simply plug in the cable and while the light is lit, attach it to the battery and turn the key. That’s it. from dead battery to running car takes seconds.
   You can jump multiple vehicles with it, but I make sure to recharge it so it’s got a full charge in case I need it. The jumper does not drain much if it all when it sits unused.

   It comes in a nice case and is small enough that it takes up less space than jumper cables. My versions have a light on them so you can use it to see under your hood.

   I completely recommend this product.

   This product is compact and holds its charge well. The carrying case is solid but doesn’t take up much room. On most cars this will probably work well, but we bought this to jumpstart a 2005 Prius with a battery drain, and were unable to use it because the protective plastic on the clamp made it too big to connect securely to the positive terminal. The jumpstarting terminal in our Prius is in a small box with very little room. On standard batteries, that will not be a problem. We know the charger holds it charge because we kept trying to make it work so long that ezysurvival.com would no longer accept the return. Fortunately, DBPower contacted us with an offer to return it for a full refund. They have followed through. This company stands by its products.

   I’ve purchased 4 of these. I have one in each car and one for the boat. They work great and the ease of use is fantastic. It’s so simple to use my wife loves it. If you need a jump in the middle of nowhere, you’re not reliant on strangers for help. Just plug in cables, connect to battery, and crank your vehicle.

   I own more expensive name brand jumpers and these are just as good. Plus these come with a case, whereas the name brand doesn’t.

   I highly recommend this brand, especially if you can catch them on sale.

   At first, it was working great and I was able to jump a few cars. However, after a year it stopped working. The vehicle I was trying to jump has a bad battery (only sat over night) and it could not jump it. I’ve done it by the book and all but it still didn’t work.

   Contacted customer support and they told me the jumper does not jump a completely dead battery as it would need some voltage. Which is okay and all, but their own clamps showed the battery reads at 12volts. There is no “boost” button on this unit to give it that extra juice a dead battery needs to start up.

   Get one that has a boost button if you can!

   It was stated that this device had an 18000mAh battery, but it actually has a 17200mAh battery. This isn’t a huge difference, but for $60 I’d expect them to at least be honest. Additionally, when testing the device with the flashlight function, the battery percentage dropped from 84% to 61% in about a minute. I wouldn’t trust this device to reliably start a car, especially if it’s all I’ve got.
