   These really work well. Had no problem jumping my 2004 GX470 (4.7 liter engine) as well as smaller vehicles. Just follow the instructions. I have about 4 of these. The older ones were a bit heavier, so I wasn’t sure how this would work, but it’s great so far. I’ve had this probably 6 months, but I used it a good bit shortly after I got it. I like to keep one on my motorcycle if the battery is a bit suspect. Works great for that, of course. Just remember to recharge it once in a while if it sits for a very long time, though they all seem to hold a charge for quite a while (I’ve used them after they have sat in a vehicle for at least six months, though, obviously, haven’t tested that with this latest one). I recommend setting a reminder on your phone or something like that.

   This Portable Jump Starter from DBPOWER has more features than most comparable jump starters and has a high battery capacity. I own several other jump starters that I keep in our family’s vehicles and needed another. This jump starter has all the standard features found in the others but has improvements and additional features like the led screen that shows remaining capacity, a built-in compass, and support for charging some notebooks. The bright LED light allows it be used in dark situations and the bright yellow paneling is easier to see. The build quality and plastics used seem to quite durable, the clamps were also heftier and sturdier than some other’s I’ve used in the past. The semi hard shell case keeps everything compact and well protected, you can easily store it in the glove compartment or in the trunk. I tested this unit with a 2.0L sedan and and a 3.5L SUV and had no problems jump starting either vehicle. Operation was straightforward and easy, the instructions were understandable. The high 18000mAh capacity also allows this device to work well as a power bank for USB chargeable devices and the included adapters allow some compatible notebook computers to be charged. With portable jump starters being so compact and affordable these days, it would be wise and advisable to keep one in the car. It can be a real life-saver for situations where you’re stranded or when other vehicles are not around to do a standard jump start.

   Compact and easy to use and store. Very reasonably priced. Plenty of power to start several vehicles without recharging. Convenient extra features, very durable.
   I’ve owned and used this same brand for several years with only great results.
   I liked this brand/model so much that I bought three more for family members!
