I was skeptical buying this because of the low price. My battery was completely dead (no lights, no clicks, nada). I have and 8 cylinder, 5.7 litre Hemi in a 2004 Dodge Durango. I followed the instructions and fully charged it before the first use. To my surprise, it started my car right up on the first attempt. It’s pretty lightweight, comes with a carrying case, and is very easy to use. I have recommended this to my family and friends. The only thing that I wasn’t happy about is that it does not come with a charger or charging cable. Luckily I had several just laying around the house that I could use. Definitely worth the money–you’ll get the best bang for your buck with this little gadget.

I purchased this with the mentality better to have it and not need it, then need it and not have it. It came sooner than expected and charged it up so I could be prepared. In the back of my mind I was wanting to use it but wasn’t sure when I would get the chance, I would say within 2 weeks I got my answer. I pulled into work and one of my coworkers was in the parking lot with their hood up and another car trying to give them a jump. Apparently they had been trying for like 20 minutes and couldn’t get it started. So I pulled into a spot and grabbed my jumper, he didn’t look too impressed, yes I have cables but this is easier. Plus, no chance of sparks. I hooked it up and he tried 20 seconds later turning it on and sure if enough his car started. He chuckled and thanked me and we both went on our ways. Long story short, if you’re on the fence about getting a jumper. Give this one a try. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I bought this a few months ago, but just used it for the first time tonight. A co-worker left his lights on and drained his battery. I pulled this out of my car. I charged it fully when I received it and it was still fully charged three months later. We hooked it up to his battery and it worked perfectly. However, it did drain the unit halfway from one jump start. The owner’s manual says you have to be at least 50 percent charged or it won’t work. I brought it home to charge and it took FOREVER to get fully charged. If it charged faster I would give five stars.

At the shop we have about 12-15 cars all the time. These are our private vehicles. We were constantly using jumper cables. Get the cables, get another car keys, move to the car with the good battery, drive to the disabled car, jump it off move it, go back and jump it off again to move it after working on it. A total PITA.
One day I just looked up jump boxes on ezysurvival.com and started reading reviews. This one fit my needs and price point. Charged it up and have NOT used jumper cables again. Saves time and trouble. It’s always charged. We can get about 20 uses before we charge it. It has a 5 bar power meter that comes in handy. It has never failed to start a vehicle even with NO battery. Awesome produce.
