Worked perfect for our riding mower which was sitting outside covered all winter. The battery didn’t have enough juice to start it, and after trying for 5 minutes it would not turn over any longer, just “click click click”. I used an aftermarket Makita compatible battery to power this, hooked up both cables to the battery terminals and tried starting it. It did turn over, but wouldn’t start right away after trying about three times. I let it sit for around 10 minutes, came back and it started right up! Again, I used an aftermarket battery and it still worked great. The cables are a little short, but fairly thick gauge and the clamps are good qquality. Highly recommended.
