   After a three-week trip, I discovered that I hadn’t closed one door of my car completely. The battery was dead and the engine wouldn’t start. I purchased the DieHard 43448 Compact 400 and received it the next day. It arrived with a full 100% charge so I was able to use it as soon as I took it out of the box. The battery in my car was REALLY DEAD but the jump starter got the engine going with no problem. Jumping the battery took the DieHard down to about 65%. I recharged it immediately and it was back to 100% in an hour or two. I was so happy with this product that I purchased a second one to keep in another car.

   ALERT – Item description indicates that an AC Adapter is included. IT IS NOT. I had a replacement shipped after consulting with a customer supervisor. Again no adapter. The mfg should be notified to change the listing description..

   I got this little guy for my motorcycle because my battery bit the dust basically right after I bought it (the joys of buying used, I suppose). Out of the box, it did not start the bike, which was not a surprise. My battery was extremely dead and the jumper was not fully charged. After I properly charged the jumper, it started right up! What a great little device. I’m tempted to get one for every vehicle. The other reviews that say the instructions aren’t clear (especially how to read the flashy lights) are true. I had to look up the plain English meaning of the indicator lights on my phone. But that was a small issue and since this device charges phones, I should be okay if I need to look anything up again.

   Couldn’t start my friends dodge caravan. It’s the first time I used it. Failed. Had a Suokai Battery bank/solar generator with jump ability and it started it no problem. Basically an overpriced battery bank. Good for that but I would not trust it in an emergency.

   I’ve only used it once but the result was positive. I had a dead battery, connected the DieHard battery pack to my dead car battery, turned the ignition and my car started immediately. Very pleased!

   Update: I was at Walgreens. A woman was eyeing me. I thought she was interested but instead she needed her Jeep jump started. I whipped out my battery pack and got her Jeep started immediately. No phone numbers were exchanged but she was able to drive away happily but took a photo of it so she could purchase one.

   I’ve also recommended this to a friend who also purchased.
