   So long story short. The metal post themselves are of good quality but….. I have to question the plastic used to hold them on place. I drilled a hole to mount it on my frame of my car hand tightened the nuts to the frame. The plastic cracked at the mounting holes. On both sides of the brackets. So I had to add a big washer to hold it into place as the included hardware wasn’t sufficient. Question now is how long before it falls apart completely and just dangles

   Had to get a bit creative on where to mount it on my x3 four seater. Since I have a rear bench seat on it it’s really a pain to remove the seat just to jump it. I ended up mounting behind the rear quarter panel out of sight. Easy to get the jumper cables on it and great power point for my air compressor.

   I have an ATV that has the battery in a horrible place and there isn’t any way to jump it off without running jumper wires that are very unsafe. This product is the answer to that issue. It installs very easily and then I mounted it to the side housing behind the battery compartment and it works perfectly. Just red to red and black to black. And now I have a great place to charge or jump start my ATV without needing to take half the back of the ATV battery compartment apart. I highly recommend this product in a heart beat. It’s an awesome product.

   I got this because I’ve had issues with batteries for my car and need a jump. This was supposed to be easier to use since you can place it any where and not have to open the hood. The issue is that this battery jumper adapter is pretty big and would really stand out so I don’t recommend for regular car maybe a truck, and for sure ATVs and UTVs.

   I put this on my x3 max for a power point for either jumper cables or if I need to use an air pump. I also put a SAE connection on it for a battery tender. It’s pretty big so mounting points were limited, between the back seats was the best spot. Cable was plenty long mounting it there, if you try to mount it up high you might come up short on cable. the plastic mount is thick and should hold up to some abuse. The lugs are solid, way over sized but you shouldn’t have any issues with a jumper cable falling off. I cut a bit out of the bottom side so the wires would come out flush so I could mount it low as possible. The protective caps on the lugs stay on pretty well also, which will help keep them clean. Pretty good option for the price.
