This is a great tool to have in case of an emergency. If you are a Makita fanboy and have all makita tools/batteries then this is for you. It’s well constructed with abs style thermoplastic. The clips are of decent size and have good hold strength.
It can turn any Makita battery into an emergency 12 v power source. It’s voltage regulated to provide 13.5V, a stepdown from the battery output.
It’s functions as it should and can jump a weak battery. I tried it on my lawn mower and it started right up. The battery was completely dead on the lawn mower.
If you know how, you can also use to charge a phone, by adding a USB ports to power a phone or other draw devices to the power clips. I plan on using mine to power a winch as the winch just need alligator clips to power it and this seams to work just fine!
This is a great product to have on hand. It’s well constructed and very easy to use. It’s a great value for the money and it makes a great gift!
