   Got this product to be used for emergency situations with my ’22 Honda Civic. It does what it advertised. I tested with my Civic with low battery at 11v. Followed the instructions, but felt it wasn’t the right order as the clamps has a slight charged readied already. It would be better to clamp onto the car first before pressing the ON switch. Afterwards, starting the car will draw the power from the device instead of the dead battery. The only potential issue I see is the cable lengths to the clamps being less than a foot each side. I wonder why the American brands have cables at least 2 feet long and yet these portable ones only have these short cable lengths. This is useful for standard ICE engine where the battery is easily accessible through the front engines, but not convenience if you want to do the charge through the fuse box if the battery is located in rear or very inconvenient part of the car where this kit may not clamp right. Update 4/24/2025: If you have a 12v battery that is less than 9v due to sitting for too long, this product will fail to jump start the car. I played around with my ’22 Civic that was sat outside not driven for a month and I could not get this car to start. I had my battery tending kit charge up my battery slowly and found the car needs to be at least 11.3v to be able to start the car. Any lower and my Civic failed to start. My neighbor had a little more expensive unit and noticed this unit only supply power for 30 seconds (and not a lot of it) while his unit supply power for 90 seconds. Unfortunately, I have to lower the score as now this item has a more limited set of uses than realized.

   I got this for my husband because it is nice to have if needed. He keeps it in his trunk now and it is nice to have just incase. He had tested it out and said it worked for his car. He said it all worked good and is nice to have the light too.

   I have multiple boats and a Jeep and carry a jump starter battery in each one. I have even used them to help others on the road. I decided to try this one to compare to what I have been buying. This one is not even in the same ballpark as my others. This is an emergency device and I would not be comfortable counting on this one in any emergency situation. When i opened it, i realized that the cables were very light weight which is a source of electrical resistance for this type of device, That’s a negative. Also, the weight of the unit compared to my others is about half what I am used to which reflects the quality of the internal components the lithium battery quality and the electrical circuitry. I put this on par with the skinny jumper cables so many people carry which sometimes work but are not as effective as heavy duty cables. It’s just not the quality I want to rely upon in a stressful situation. Everything about this unit reflects low quality except the zippered pouch that it comes in!

   I would definitely not purchase this jump starter again.

   My size small wife couldn’t use our old jump starter because it was too heavy for her. I have a larger version of this jump starter, and I knew this would be perfect for my wife’s Subaru CRV. It has enough power for many starts on a single charge with 3000 amps cranking power. I like that it has a large, clear battery charge remaining digital display. Since I know it will be ME charging it, the indicator makes it easy for me to tell when it needs to be topped up! It comes with heavy duty battery clamps and a USB charging cord. I know not to let her drain the battery because it will take a long time to charge if she does! It also has a convenient, bright flashlight built in, handy for when it needs to be used at night! It is only 8 inches by 4 inches by about an inch thick, and way light enough for her to handle it easily. The whole shebang including the case only weighs 2 and 1/4 pounds. The battery itself is lithium polymer, a great performer., and it can starg much larger engines than hers! It can be used to charge her phone and other devices using the two built in USB charging ports. Best of all, she likes it!

   This emergency starter started my car at 90 center charged level. It has an emergency light, and the capacity to charge other electronic devices. You will need to charge it fully before you bring it on the road. You will also have to bring your own cable. It came in with a 13 Volt charging capability. Good to have it in your car for emergency when you are on a long trip. This device will be dependable if you recharge it before the trip, and it claimed that the charge will hold for 2 months. However, I would not trust that, do charge it fully before you get on the road.

   Unfortunately and also fortunately, I haven’t had a battery go dead to test this on, so I have not been able to yet test how well it works, which is super important. So my review is on my first impression of unpacking.

   The actual unit itself seems like pretty decent quality, it’s very heavy and feels stable. The jumper cables however are poor quality and I’m not sure if there is a way to upgrade it yet. I feel like the clips will be poor conductors of electricity when jumping. I will update when the time comes to actually use this item.

   For now, I charged it up fully and keep it in my car. I have an electric car so it will be useless for me, but if I see someone that needs a jump, it’s nice to have this unit available.

   I was so skeptical about this being so small with the ability to be able to jump a car. I doubted its ability, but when I tell you I was shocked at how fast it was able to jump a car that was a dead battery from an interior light being left on overnight, that’s an understatement. I literally just hooked up the clamps to the battery terminals, turned on the jumper pack and the car started right up with one turn of the key. VERY impressed and I’ve been recommending this to everyone I talk to. It’s so small and compact, comes with a hard case for storing, and has an LED screen for keeping tracks of the battery life and what type of power you want depending on what you’re trying to jump of give power to. I would get one of these if you want the ease and convenience of a compact charger that works quickly!
