These new-generation lithium-ion jump starters are fantastic. I chose this one after reading many reviews, and I don’t regret my choice. I think we used it within a week or two after buying it, and you couldn’t ask for a better result. NO problem whatsoever starting a large V-8 engine with a completely dead battery, and based on the charge level indicator it could accomplish this at least 5-6 times between recharges, maybe many more! And WAY more convenient than using traditional jumper cables with another vehicle. The case we received with it is super-nice and designed specifically for this charger, protecting it very well. We’ve saved ourselves a headache several times since the initial use, and also helped out a few other people who were stuck with dead batteries. Highly recommended!!

I have yet to jump my own car, but I have used on 4 other cars for other people. Everyone seems shock and amazed. Most don’t even know about a jumper box. It works great. Highly recommend keeping one in the car. The hook up is simple and it will let you know if you connected to the battery wrong.
