   I really like this product for its easy of use, its carrying or storage case and size. The jumper works well – I was able to jump my 2019 3.5 6 cylinder Tacoma with this when I had a bad battery. The only thing I dislike is the jaws cable length. While yes I can reach the terminals on my battery I can’t really rest the battery pack how I would like to if it had longer cables. I am trying to find an attachment with longer cables to use with the battery pack. Other than that it works wonderfully and stores well. A good idea to top off the pack or check the charge every 30-60 days. It also has handy usb ports for charging phones or mobile devices.

   Disclaimer: You shouldn’t take apart a cheap jump starter. You can electrocute yourself quite badly. The other day I needed a jump and wouldn’t you know it, the jump pack was unresponsive. I began to charge the pack it and it started doing this weird cycle of showing the battery percentage, illuminating everything on the LCD, and flashing the flashlight on and off. I charged it to 25% or so before realizing it was more or less permanently in this “boot looping” state. The button did nothing. I believe the problem is with the main board itself (the one labelled “G18A-MAIN-ROC”). The only way to get the looping to stop is to disconnect the 8 pin connector between it and the battery itself, and plugging power up to it restarts its little boot loop cycle. No obvious signs of failure on the PCB itself. It’s been sitting in a sink draining like this for the past 24 hours or so, draining about 2% an hour on average. Shame it’s not in any way repairable. I awarded this product 3 stars because while it did work, it outperformed a similar bulkier portable jump pack that was given to us (TACKLIFE – another garbage transient ezysurvival.com brand).

   Got this as I do a lot of roadtrips, camping and exploration of trails so has been worth every dollar as a easily portable power source. As my car battery aged it became fussy depending on the weather or my cell power was depleted due to poor cell service. Saved my butt by jumpstarting my and others cars, charging phones, flash lights, lamps, etc. Very handy to have. Does take some time to charge when below 10%. Also when not in use the charge declines very slowly. I check it every 3-4 months and often remains fully charged. I would say this is probably best for smaller cars, motorcycles, lawn mowers, powering LED lights, camping and other outdoors activities. I’ve tried it on trucks, tractors, and EV vehicles and was less or not effective.

   My Honda Odyssey battery was changed in 2016 and recently it started to die and wouldn’t hold a charge. I couldn’t take it into the dealership to get it checked out because I was working so I bought this battery pack jumper and taught my wife how to use it so they wouldn’t be stranded without a car or with a dead battery. This battery pack is so easy to use. You simply just charge it (already comes charged in the box, but I recommend charging it up to 100% anyways) and then hook up the red and black cables to your car battery and start your car up. My wife had to use it 4 times before I was able to get the battery replacement by Honda. This battery pack continues to be very useful because I can charge my iPhone and iPads with this charger as well. It also comes with a handy carrying case so everything can be secured and not lost. The charger also has a flash light in case you need it. I recommend this battery pack because it’s stronger than some of the lower amp models. Make sure you get this stronger one so it’ll jump whatever kind of car you have.

   (Amazing end to this review) I bought this in June of 2022 strictly to jump start my truck should the kids wear down the battery. I rarely leave reviews, but what happened next is worthy of a review. We went camping in July and brought it (fully charged before first use as instructed) just in case. Three days in, our generator’s battery died so we gave this unit a try; started right up. Twice more we had to do this and were thankful we could jump start it. One night after quiet time started (no generators), our camper battery died and the lights went out. This unit has a built-in light so we hung it from the camper light and finished our board game. The next day, another camper couldn’t start their truck so we jumped it for them with this unit. At the lake we were faced with hand pumping air into our raft since our little electric pump required a car auxiliary power outlet (cigarette lighter socket). Wait! This unit has one via an included adapter so we were able to pump the raft with no sweat. When we got home I turned the unit on and it still has 96% of its charge (see pic). Wow, now that’s worthy of a good review.
