   Bought in March of 2023, i used the jump starter about 20 times to start various cars & trucks. I always kept it on the charger when not in use, I went to use it the other day & it was dead, upon plugging it in & un plugging it the pack would flash all the lights and fade out with no signs of turning on.

   When it worked, it worked awesome. I wish the jump pack lasted longer, I would give 5 stars otherwise.

   Firstly, right out of the box 2/4 stars I jumped my mom’s 4.8L Ford explorer. She’s a ditz and has a bunch of cars she let’s die all the time. She attempted using a 1000amp from costco which had no luck and she says has to be at 100% to work which it was. The beatit 2200amp also failed but had also jumped a 5.3 Chevy at the start of summer and had drained down to 83% sitting in my hot trunk. She basically relies on AAA and she said they struggle to jump her Ford v8 as well, and do some sorta trick where they hook two weaker jumper boxes to it to make it work. This does it by itself. Nice build quality, plugged output and inputs. Pelican style construction, heavy garage wires with full metal clamps! I’ve had 3 other jumpers and have never had clamps this nice. I did hear a click/clunk the 2nd time I squeezed the clamps, they didn’t break or seem to fall apart when I did it another 6 times to make sure I didn’t need to return them. Dare I say it was a break-in noise? I know lol, these days things don’t break-in they just break. I really like this product and it saved my mom needing to renew her AAA membership which I guess expired recently. Half a star deducted for keeping the case as sold separately. Just package it in the case and charge another 10 bucks.. the packaging had to be costly, it felt like opening up a new watch.

   First impressions are a big deal and the LOKITHOR battery booster does not disappoint. From the moment, you see the packaging and start to unbox you can tell there’s a lot of time and quality that even went into the packaging of this product. I have purchased several different electronic items on ezysurvival.com ranging from high-quality to low quality, and the LOKITHOR battery booster stands at the top of quality. The quality of the packaging continues into the product itself on how heavily it’s made and how heavy gauge the clamps and wires are. When comparing boosters, check the reviews and look at the quality build of the battery clamps that tells a lot about the product. They can all claim they have fancy specs and features, but looking at the quality gauge of wire, and how heavy do the clamps are truly shows you how the product is made. Now that I have put this booster through several charge cycles which means multiple battery boost, I can say it performs great! It has been riding around in a service truck toolbox not the easiest environment, and the outer casing is holding up very well to the abuse. The size is small and compact compared to some of our other boosters as well. Overall, I’m very happy with this brand and I would recommend it over the other 3 brands that we run in our fleet!

We work on ag and construction equipment and we have to jump off equipment almost daily and they have never let me down. One of these even jumped off our freightliner. We love these units.

   12/20/2023 Review update: On 12/8/2023 a Lokithor Representative messaged me through ezysurvival.com messaging to discuss my device. After explaining the facts from my review again the Representative determined my 1st device was defective and I was offered a second replacement device which I received on 12/15/2023. Today being 12/20/2023 I successfully jump started a Jeep Wrangler with a battery measuring 10.7 volts and my Lokithor replacement device continues to function. So I will upgrade my previous overall rating to 4 stars for the positive experience and painless replacement of a non working device. Original post concerning my 1st device. I ordered this device after watching a YouTube review by Project Farm channel. The device was delivered to my home 6/7/2023. That day I charged the device and then unplugged and stored it inside my home office. Today, 11/8/2023, for the first time I needed to use the device to jump start a car and it is dead… It will not turn on! The display and flashlight buttons do not work! When I plug in the USB cable to check or charge the device all the lights on the display light up and flash with no change till it shuts off blank (see picture). Of course I cant find an email or phone number to contact the manufacturer. The ezysurvival.com page shows the return window closed on Jul 13, 2023 and the Product support window closed on Sep 11, 2023. SO BUYER BEWARE!

   So far so good in warm weather. The reason I went with this particular unit was its ability to deliver high cranking amps. Even though it’s only 2500 peak it delivers more amps for jump starting than units with higher peak amp ratings. I tested them on an International with a Maxxforce 13 and four completely dead batteries. The truck had been sitting for over a year. I charged the batteries for 15 minutes with jumper cables hooked to a RAM 1500 running at idle then connected two J401’s. This way there was no need to use the forced boost feature. Left the jumper cables attached and turned both on and waited 60 seconds then turned the key to crank the engine. The engine turned over like it had four fresh batteries and the engine started after about 5 seconds. Very impressed with the results. I’ll be buying one more J401 so I have three for road service work. Very cost effective way to get 3x’s the cranking amps delivered by one of the other units priced at 3x’s the Lokithor.

   I bought this jump starter about 2 years ago to keep in my 6.7l Cummins diesel truck. This jump pack is by far the best one I’ve ever bought and now own 4 of them. They have started everything from cars to diesel trucks and farm equipment. It has a no battery mode so you can jump start things with no battery at all in them. Unhooked both battery’s on my diesel truck and it starts it right up. Holds a charge for a long time and has the option to buy a carrying case which I highly recommend to keep it in instead of the box . If you on the fence about this jump pack or looking for a jump pack this is the one to go with hands down.
