   The air compressor didn’t work right, so they sent me a replacement. This one works well. It’s lightweight and came in handy when jumping my car over the winter. The rubber covers are flimsy and break off easily, so I cut an old bicycle tube in half, wrapped each half around the unit and secured them with zip ties.

   I go on hike and bike trips in areas away from vehicle services and have been looking for a compact unit for potential vehicle battery or low air tire problems. This thing solves that in one compact unit. Separate units take up more space so this is much better to pack. Ive attached a picture next to the tire on my 4Runner for size perspective. I have tested it but not had a real emergency use yet. It aired up a tire on my 4Runner from 24 lbs to 36 lbs in about 12 minutes with no problem. Air compressor shut off at the my preset pressure of 36 lbs. The air port was warm to touch but not hot. I charged my iphone from 40% to 100% in about one hour. Phone was not hot afterward. I tested the volt meter function on vehicle battery and it worked fine. The jumper cables plug into the unit only one way so you cant attach it to the unit wrong. The unit operation is fairly intuitive but there is an instruction manual. It auto shuts off after about a minute so you dont have remember to shut it off. Outside build material seems of very good quality. The handle is made of a softer material so that it doesnt slip in your hand very easily. And the bottom has four feet covered with soft rubber so it doesnt slid easily. The input and output ports are covered with a soft rubber cover. A small bag holds the jumper cables, air hose, air hose attachments and instruction manual. A larger bag holds the unit and is large enough to also hold the smaller bad and its contents. I like the bag to hold everything and not some bulky hard case that would be harder to pack in the back of vehicle. I really like the minimalist and quality design of this unit.

   I got one for myself and loved it enough to get another for my son when he moved out of state after graduating college.
   I dont know how long it will hold a charge because every 6 months I make sure it is fully charged so I’ll have it ready when needed. It has never been down more than 1 bar when Ive checked on it at the 6 month mark.
   For jump starts, this is great for people who live alone or dont have someone on hand to give a jump start if needed. For filling tires, this saves so much time over heading to a service station or tire shop when a tire is low. Ive needed to use it every year when the Colorado weather gets cold enough to affect tire pressure. It has also come in handy when one of my tires got a slow leak and had to be topped off several times in just a coupke of weeks (had to replace the tire eventually).
   Once it’s programmed for the tire pressure needed for your altutude and vehicle, it’s so easy to use and is easy to get all tires inflated the same.

   I use mine pretty regularly. It is very convenient for topping off tires with slow leaks until a weekend when I can get them patched. I have also used it on an off-roading excursion as well. To get a 33″ tire from 8-10lbs of pressure to 30-ish would take about 1/3 of the battery. I would think you’d need 2 fully charged Lokithors to fully pump 4 33″ tires to highway pressure after low pressure off-roading. I have this product in 2 out of 3 cars and will likely buy another soon for my daughter’s car. I have used it on multiple occasions for jumping my care batteries as well. And it has never failed. An Avid Power product I bought as an emergency battery powered air compressor tire pump was nearly useless for car tires. This Lokithor has performed perfectly on many occasions for both refilling large car tires and jumping car batteries. I am more than satisfied.

   This is a great gadget to have with great features. I mainly used it for the tire inflator feature to top off car and motorcycle tires. The first unit I recieved leaked air internally when connected so I returned it and exchange for another one. After about more than a year of use the inflator is leaking so much it won’t hold pressure anymore. The air leak just gradually got worse over time. The cable management is poor the hoses and cables are suppose to be stowed seperately it would be nice if there was a storage area on the unit itself or a place to wrap the cables around. The jumpstarter works great if you need it and the USB charger port is great and fast charges my phone. It’s great to take camping for the flashlight and powerbank features. I tried emailing lokithor about the air leaking problem and see if I can get it repaired but they never reply. Since the main use was the inflator I am now looking to replace with something else like a DeWalt Tire Inflator or open it up myself and try to fix it. =( Update I disassemble the unit and I found the source of the leak is the pressure sensor. It has cracked over time and is leaking a lot of air. Best way to fix is to replace sensor but I don’t know where I can get one. Next best thing to do is attempt to repair the cracks on tge current one by sealing them. Update 2: I was able to get a hold with Lokithor and try to purchase a replacement air pressure sensor and they do not sell one. I tried to repair the pressure sensor with a plastic welding gun and fixed it a little but but it still leaks a little bit and foresee in the future it will leak a lot again. Lokithor said they cannot repair or replace it because it is out of warranty and offered a $10 coupon to purchase another one. Bummer I have purchased a Dewalt tire inflator instead as I really only need the inflator.
