    It’s not just an emergency power system, it’s also one I take with me camping. When I am ready to go out on the road on a camping trip, I will check my battery’s charge and if it is a bit low, this is the fast and easy way to ensure I start my trip off with a fully-charged battery. It’s fast and easy!

    Nice unit, it only takes a couple hours to charge my 18/20Ah LiFePO4 batteries. I used to use a fancier general purpose charger but its really nice and convenient just being able to hook it up and plug it in without fiddling with a control panel and selecting options.

    This charger works as expected. It charges and maintains LifePo4 batteries. When it is charging the fan kicks on and it’s pretty loud. Once it’s float charging the LED changes from oranges to green and the fan turns off. As time goes on the battery will slowly drain and if it gets low again you’re back to the loud fan charge noise again. The wire gauge for the clamps is a bit thin, but still within specifications to charge at 10A The clamps are okay and have teeth to grab the battery posts. Down the road I will likely switch these for ring connectors, SAE, or Anderson connectors.
