   I bought this to start my 750cc motorcycle after it sat in the garage all winter. It is easy to use and it works well. It was a little tricky to get the cables to clamp onto the very small battery terminals but, after a couple of tries, the bike fired right up. I have a feeling I will be using this to start my riding lawn mower in a couple weeks.

   I’m glad to report great results. I bought mine over a year ago and after charging it, its just been sitting through a hot Texas summer and fairly cold winter. My daughter left the dome light on over the weekend so when I tried to start up this morning I was met with fairly dead battery, starter wasn’t even clicking. I’ve got a 1st Gen Sequoia with a 4.7L V8, I originally bought this battery for a Camry and was considering getting a larger model, but after today I’ll stick with what I’ve got. After hooking it up, the engine cranked right up with no struggle at all. It did drain the Noco fairly significantly, I started at full charge and after I started the engine, it showed half battery, but I don’t really find a problem with this though. I plugged it in when I got to work and it came back to full charge in a little over an hour. Overall, very impressed and would recommend.

   When I got my starter, I plugged it in to charge, just as if I were charging my cell phone or my e-reader. When the light showed solid green, I threw it in the car with its leads. (By the way: I notice that among those who were unable to charge the starter, all but one of those for whom the information was available were using the model that describes itself as a “Genius” Boost Starter. The GB20 I got did NOT describe itself as a genius.) Here’s the beauty of it: you can attach it to your battery BEFORE you turn on the power, so there’s no worry about sparks. Left your lights on? No problem. Didn’t drive your Prius often enough during the pandemic? No problem. In either case, pop the hood, connect the leads, press the “on” button, get in the car and start it. Get out of the car, disconnect the leads and throw the starter in the trunk or back seat. Drop the hood and drive off. It’s easier than having a second car to charge from parked right next to yours. The leads are color-coded, just like jumper cables, and you attach them just like jumper cables, so you don’t have to learn anything new. When you press the “on” button, the starter runs a little diagnostic. It is worth reading the instructions. If your battery is terribly low, it might be worth allowing a little time for some electrical charge to run from the starter to the battery, but I’ve never had it happen to be that low. This accessory has been a must for me with my new Prius during the pandemic, especially during cold weather. I keep the charger near the back door, hooked up and charging. If my Prius doesn’t start, no problem. I go back in, get the charger and start it up. In rainy weather, I throw the charger into the hatchback “just in case.” I love the safety feature of not having the power on while I connect the cables. I love not having to carry jumper cables with me all the time. I love not having to ask fellow motorists to assist me with a jump. I love the fact that charging the starter is as easy as charging my cell phone. I love not having to wait for AAA to arrive when it’s just the battery. (Yes I do keep my AAA membership, not every problem is solved with jumper cables.) I love not having to figure out how to keep a maintenance charger running safely. On the whole, I consider the money I spent on this to be very well spent indeed!

   I originally bought this to carry on my ATV, after witnessing a fellow rider suffer a dead battery that resulted in having to tow his ATV out of the woods. Since the purchase, I’ve used it on several vehicles (my own and others), and it simply works great. Easy to hook up, easy to use, and stores well, holding a fully charge for months at a time, even in cold weather.

    jumped my car a couple of times after some freezing nights. my battery will be completely empty if falls below 20 degrees for too long. I did a few jumps without having to recharge. however it didn’t work one day when it was 8 degrees and my battery was completely dead. im not sure what the reason is, but i doubt its the jump starter as it seemingly works fine above 20 degrees, and my battery did take some charge but not enough to start. this is buying me some time to keep my battery until i can afford to figure out if i need another one or if its a different issue.

    Product worked as advertised, car battery was almost dead from lack of use, not using the car for some time connected the leads to the battery and turned it on , tuned key on ignition and presto all fixed , took the car for a run for 25mins to completely recharge the battery and now all good, great product couldn’t be happier.

    Bought this on a whim since the price was good, I have an older that if you leave a light on you’ll drain the battery. I’ve had to have AAA come 2 times since owning my car in 7 years, I figured if I do it again I can jump it myself. Thinking I’ll never use it, I’ve now used it 3 times since buying it. Weather has gotten very cold and the battery is old now so this has been a life saver each time, worth the money and works well. Also the ability to use it as a power bank is a big plus. The hook up is idiot proof and safer to use then hooking up jumper cables, the chance of damaging two or one car has pretty much been eliminated.
