   This is NOT a 20000 milliampere-hours (mAh) or 15000 mAh battery starter. The lithium battery pack inside the jump starter I received is rated for 4550 mAh. Discharging the jump starter battery with a programmable load down to about 10 V (5-10% capacity) gave me a capacity of about 4088 mAh (this is within the specification stamped on the battery). I could not find any of the jump starter battery’s continuous current and burst/peak current specifications, so maybe it can provide the 800-1000 A current claimed, maybe not (my four cylinder car needs less than 300 A burst/peak current to start down here in FL, so this jump starter works fine). That being said, for the price ($29.99 at the time of this writing) this jump starter will charge your phone in an emergency and get you out of a jam if the car battery is not completely discharged. The relay module (black box) on the “spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection” cables will not activate if the voltage of the car battery is too low. If you want to attempt to jump-start a car with a low voltage battery then my suggestion is to hack the provided cables (bypass the relay) or purchase low-tech battery booster cables and keep them handy (like these ASIN: B0C1ZJDVPZ), which will act as a “manual override” since the jump starter has no other voltage/current protection when jump-starting a car. If you modify or change the cables you won’t have any reverse polarity protection, so make sure to connect the darn thing correctly or you’ll let all the magic smoke out of the jump starter (it might start a fire, which would make for an exciting day/night). The manual, which is written in Chinglish, does allude to the jump starter’s shortcomings (if you can manage to decipher it). Oh, and the light worked on the unit I received, so there’s that. Also, as an added feature the percent capacity displayed on the LCD screen only changes when using the USB ports. When I discharged the jump starter via the jump start cables down to about 10% capacity the LCD screen was still showing 100% (the manual refers to this as “virtual power…” I kid you not). I connected a load on the USB port for a few minutes and then the LCD display began to decrease, but never showed the true capacity of the battery. In other words, the capacity LCD display is only useful when the jump starter pack is fully charged and you’re discharging via the USB ports, but it will not keep track of the actual state of charge of the jump starter battery otherwise. I’m assuming this is why the manual mentions something about discharging/recharging the unit once a month (the manual recommends charging your phone to discharge the jump starter prior to charging the jump starter… or something like that).    bought this 16 months ago. discharged it once, and recharged. took a few hours to charge. put in my vehicle and would check the battery level every 2 months or so. then yesterday 12-2-24, went out to the car, tried to autostart, and car didn’t crank. got in, and sure enough, dead battery. hooked this up, and within seconds i was able to start my car and get ironically to the dealership for another unrelated repair. now, if your battery has been sitting for weeks/months dead, this probably won’t help you. but if you need a jump, this battery comes in handy. really saved me. after the jump, the battery life didn’t deplete at all. still at 100 percent. seems to handle extreme cold (below 30) pretty well, but make sure you check the level reguarly and recharge as needed. this is a must have. so glad i bought one.

   This starter is amazing. I have a unit that is lead acid based and 4 times the size of this one. It couldn’t jump my Chevy Trailblazer with a battery that didn’t have enough juice to make the clicking sound. I hooked up the CTWJO unit and it cranked her up without hesitation and still had 100% charge!

   It’s hard to believe that a $30 unit outperforms $200 units, but this jumper is the best portable jumper I’ve seen. You’d have to go to a stationary floor model to get any better performance.

   I bought this device to keep in my car back in 2021 and I just had to use it for the first time and it works wonders!! I haven’t charged it since after I bought it and it still had 100% charge. I’m a college student and I commute to school. My car has had many issues and specifically, it stalls a lot. The last time it stalled (yesterday) some triple-A guys decided to try to jump it and they had a portable Jump Starter similar to this one I have had for years. They used it to start my car and it worked great and today my car stalled again because my car hates me, and I pulled this out and really easily used it to start my car again. 10/10 Device I will be recommending it to everyone I know!!!
