   Shipped and received on time. I received all the advertised items. I’ll provide an updated review once I’ve had the opportunity to try it, but as of now, it appears to be perfect. This will be a handy tool to have in a vehicle throughout the year. It includes everything necessary to jump-start a dead battery, is perfectly sized, and eliminates the need for bulky cords. It’s compact enough to fit in a glove compartment. Additionally, it features USB capability, a built-in flashlight, and emergency lights. This could be an excellent gift for a new driver, a frequent traveler, or any vehicle owner. It would also be ideal for charging a lawnmower that has been idle all winter. Yes, I recommend this item.

   We really like this jump pack. We use it in our shop all the time for odd and end things. It works amazing. It does not take very long to recharge this pack either. I love that it has USB ports so then you can also charge things like phones with it also. Overall, I am impressed with this product and feel like it is priced fairly.

   I ordered the “Blackspike Car Jump Starter, Jump Starter Pack 1000A” for my wife’s Fiat 500, but I was skeptical once it arrived as the unit is very light weigh for a jump pack. This one is not only a jump pack, but also a tire air compressor so it should be heavier. I got it two months ago and have checked it every couple weeks to see if the battery indicator (4 bars full) was decreasing and it has not, so I left it in the car for a bad day. This morning (30 degrees Fahrenheit) the battery was low and the Fiat would not even turn over. Time for the jump pack test and…holy heck it worked. I drove about 10 miles down the highway, went to an appointment, came out and the car was dead again…and the jump pack worked again! The Fiat’s battery is about 600CCA, so it’s not the biggest draw out there, but it worked twice and the battery indicator only when from 4 to 3 bars. The jump pack comes with everything you need, and the cord and inflator hose fit inside the unit. The compressor does fine with the Fiat tires and will power up a whole flat with power to spare. I was pleasantly surprised by the Blackspike jump pack and recommend it highly. I’ll update the review when/if it stops working/charging. Definitely give it a try.

   This thing is like Murphy’s Law Repellent! I haven’t needed a jump start since I got it. I love the quick availability to check tire pressure (we do that once per week anyway), and I’ve been able to come to the rescue of others with a jump start without the possibility of messing up my car’s electrical system. Love it!

   As manufacturers keep making devices like this smaller and lighter, without sacrificing capability, there’s little excuse not to keep a potential life-saver in the car. God forbid your battery should fail, a compact jump starter can be the difference between trusting a stranger in a dark parking lot and getting safely back on the road. Fits easily in a glove compartment, under a seat, or in a console. I keep mine snugly in the spare tire well. Just remember to charge it up every few months and your peace of mind unit will always be ready to go.

   I haven’t tried this on a car or truck yet, but it works well for a 28hp tractor. The tractor sits in a trailer for long periods of time (think winter months) and I don’t have any type of battery maintenance set up for it yet, so the battery is usually fairly discharged by the time I start using the tractor again. I gave it 4 stars because I haven’t had it long enough to judge its longevity.
