   I got this portable air compressor/jump starter from Fuskytie to have in our car “just in case.” It looked promising.

   It’s a nice compact size and not very heavy. The air compressor works well inflating tires. The pressure gauge isn’t very accurate, however. You need to check it with a reliable pressure gauge.

   Our real challenge with this is that it tended to turn itself on randomly. We could hear it in the trunk running–and totally wearing down its battery. I guess you need to have it carefully boxed to keep the power button from getting bumped.

   We didn’t find an opportunity to test it jump starting the car (thankfully). If we do, I will update with our results.

   This portable jumper is a real high-quality jumper. I love that it has a digital display screen. It takes absolutely five seconds to jump a car with it. This is a tool. I feel like everybody should keep in their vehicle. You never know when you’re gonna have a low tire or need a jump or run into somebody that needs their car jumped. It does not take long for this jumper to recharge either. I feel like this is an extremely fair priced item.

   This is a good multi-use product. However, it is very difficult to use. KEEP THE INSTRUCTIONS! Without them you will have no idea how to control the device as it’s not intuitive. I took star off for the complexity, and one for the fact the one I was sent dc output mode doesn’t work. There also seems to be instructions missing. Now on to functionality. The flashlight works, but is very dim. The red and blue flashers are much brighter. It has battery bank capability to charge cell phones and things. The air compressor function is strong. I’ll have to have a dead battery to test the jump start capability. All in all a good little unit to keep for auto emergencies.

   I recently picked up a portable air pump and was pretty impressed with everything it was capable of. And this portable air compressor/jump starter has all of the same features such as a flashlight and USB device charging but with significantly larger battery capacity and the added functionality as a jump starter. Based on the product images, I expected a fairly bulky unit, but I was pleasantly surprised by how compact and light this is. It’s about the size of a handheld camping flashlight/lantern and just about as light as one. The light isn’t nearly as bright as a typical flashlight of this size but for emergency purposes, it gets the job done. The package also comes with a lot of accessories and even includes a nice USB charger and a 3 in 1 cable with 3 split ends for USB-C, micro-USB (for older devices), and lightning connector. The operation of the device is very simple, but at first, I was very confused when the pressure reading on the display only having a range of 0 to 7.0 until I realized it comes with a default setting of displaying in bar unit. Simply long press the “M” button to change between two units. I should point out that despite the advertised 150 PSI capacity, the unit clearly has a range of 0 to 100 PSI. 100 PSI is certainly more than enough capacity for my needs, but this is still far short of the advertised 150. One other interesting thing about air pressure settings on either bar or PSI unit is that bar readings increment by 0.1 unit whereas the PSI does so by 0.5 unit. Sinde 0.1 bar coverts to 1.45 psi, PSI mode would still allow for more granular control of the air pressure setting which might be especially helpful when pumping sports balls. This is a great portable air compressor and jump starter with lots of useful extra features built in. It is surprisingly compact and light for the large battery capacity it has, and should be a good reliable source of power in emergency situations for vehicles. I believe this is a 5 star product but I knocked down a star for the falsely advertised max PSI capacity. I’ll update my rating to 5 stars when this info is corrected.
