   I literally had to use This 2 in 1 jump starter the day I received it and how easy. I was worried it was going to be difficult because it’s my first using a jump starter I like all the features I used the psi and I also took advantage of using the charging port to charge my phone.

   On the bench today, I’ve got the Powstream 3500A Portable Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor Portable Car Jumper with 150PSI Tire Inflator 12V Jump Box Car Booster(All Gas/8L Diesel) with Digital Screen Jump Box with Flashlight. The led has 3 lighting modes, none of which are very bright but the solid light mode would work for the range you’d be hooking up a battery or valve stem. The other 2 modes, alongside the solid light, are an SOS and a Strobe mode for visibility. The USB-C is input only and only supports 5V at 2A which is very disappointing and provides a very slow charge rate. The USB-A output is only 2.4A at 5V. The inflator does at least function and the manual claims that it has a 15 minute duty cycle before you have to let it cool down. It has 4 default modes that are set to a specific PSI for you to quickly swap to:car/36, moped/36, bicycle/60, basketball/8. There doesn’t seem to be any way for you to set any of those modes to your preferred PSI and will return to the above defaults when you turn the unit off or change modes and you’ll have to adjust your setting manually each time. Being able to set your own defaults for each of those modes would greatly increase quality of life if you use different PSI across multiple vehicles frequently. In my inflator testing, the pressure reading of my unit was around 2psi higher than actual, at least when less than 20psi. At times during use, the psi would randomly jump up 3-5psi and cause the unit to shut off early requiring me to press the button to start it back so it would actually reach the cutoff set point. The battery clamps feel and look to be made from a cheap material with plastic hinges that I don’t expect to survive a long life consisting of very much usage, at all. The wires on them are far too small, being only 10AWG, to sustain any sort of decent cranking amps on a full size vehicle before having a huge voltage drop. I could not find any mention in the manual or way that I can see to enable a forced mode for when your battery is completely dead and doesn’t put out enough voltage for the unit to recognize. I don’t own a vehicle old enough where it would be safe for the computer to attempt to crank/boost without a battery or a completely dead battery using only the jumper pack. Considering that it spins over my 23hp Kawasaki ZT mower motor noticeably slower than the 3 year old battery does when it’s charged/fresh, I wouldn’t expect it to be able to jump a completely dead battery on a larger v8 engine anyway tho. It would be more for when the battery is just baaaaaaaaaarely not enough to do it alone. For the current price, after the discount and coupons, of less than $30 dollars it’s a fair value and feels about like what you’d expect to get for that sort of pricing. For the normal price over $70 then I’d have no problem finding much better options that I’d choose in that price range.
