   Very simple, if you know how to jump a car, you know how to do it with this. You can use it as a power bank – I love this kind of thinking! Great design! It’s easy to overlook the usefulness of the light until you need a jump at night! Small and portable, everything fits nicely into the provided carry case.

   I have a car in our fleet that does not get driven as much as the rest so often when I need to use it, I have to jump start it. Before I was relying on jumper cables and another car which was a whole process. This jump starter worked great and simplified the whole thing. I give it 4/5 stars because it does take a while to charge back up to full charge and things like the flashlight are not intuitive to turn on (i had to read the manual). Starting the car itself was easy and the light on the jumper cables indicate if things are wired correctly. I hit the boost button, got in and started the car. I will be charging up the pack again and keeping it with my car. I will also probably use it when I go out on my boat as well just in case or buy a 2nd unit just for that since they are nice and compact.

   This thing has been a lifesaver! I used it earlier today when my car wouldn’t start in a parking lot. My alternator is going south but this thing has helped me squeeze a bit more life out of it until I can take it in. While I don’t recommend this method of car maintenance, it’s really helped a lot. I just hook the thing up to my battery, push the Boost button and go start my car. I’ve used it three times now and it’s only down to 75% from 100%, something I find rather impressive considering I’ve only charged it fully once when it arrived at it was 3/4 charged to begin with. I remember when I had a similar device 10 years ago and it was much bigger, bulkier and harder to charge. This one takes up barely any space in the trunk and it charges up with a USB-C so it’s all around awesome!

   I got the Powrun P-X Jump Starter for my vehicle in case of an emergency. It has already been useful. Recently, it came in handy with my wife’s VW Beetle after the battery drained because the lights were left on overnight. The device started the car with no problem without using the Boost feature. The jump starter is easy to use, and I also tried out the USB charging port, which worked well for charging my phone-a handy feature to have. I like the overall simple design of the unit, and the included storage bag keeps everything nice and organized. The display is a nice touch, allowing me to see at a glance how much battery power is left. The manual says the lifetime of the unit is “usually 3 – 5 years in normal conditions” whatever “normal conditions” means, which hopefully it will last at least that long, but I’m deducting a star for what seems to be, in my opinion, a somewhat short lifespan. Other than that, I would recommend this jump starter to anyone who is looking into an emergency jump starter. It is useful to have on hand, especially in winter when battery problems are more common.
