   We were stranded in a grocery store parking lot and no one had cables to give us a jump. A kind person had this in their car and was able to provide the jump. I immediately purchased it and we had to use it the next day as well. Easy and worked! Comes charged around 80% but I’d suggest charging and leaving in your car, checking the battery every so often. This is a serious life savor

   This product is really useful! bought this few weeks ago; I didnt use this for our car, but for my friends car. The car battery ran out of power and car didn not start. So used this jump starter and it worked, able to charge my phone so its a mobile power bank too. It is really a multifunctional too, it has Flashlight. Now we carry this in our car every time we go out. Its a real good one except that it do not charge my laptop as shown in pictures on ezysurvival.com page.

   When this thing arrived and I saw how small it was, I thought there was no way it was going to work. I knew before I ordered that battery properties were frequently exaggerated and I figured I got taken. But it actually worked!!!! Amazing. The thing is comes in a carrying case small enough to easily fit into a glove box, including the jumper cables. It has a nice display to give you the status of the battery. It has functions to provide emergency lights. It can function as a battery bank for charging miscellaneous USB devices. And it even has a metal point, which I presume is intended for use in breaking a window should a person become trapped in a vehicle. And it actually works!!!! Amazing.

   The only complaint I have is that the unit seems to have quite a lot of self-discharge. The first thing I did when it arrived was to charge it to full, but the unit was completely dead just 24 or 36 hours later. It’s definitely not something you can just throw in the trunk and expect to be ready when you need it. On the other hand, even just one jump is enough for the device to pay for itself. Easy recommendation on this one!

   I am very surprised such a small battery can actually jump a car. My 99 Civic battery was dead for almost a month. I hooked this up to it and it immediately​ started. Didn’t have to wait at all. I had to use this about 7 times until I was able to drive long enough to fully charge the battery, and I was still above 90% charge on the device. Great little device and highly recommended.

   This worked great for my 2011 Chevy Express 1500. It’s important to remember that these don’t work like jumper cables. You make sure it’s charged, hook it up to the battery correctly, then try to get the car started once. It does not charge the battery like jumper cables hooked up to another car. Instead it gives it one big jolt to get the car started. I kept leaving the cables on for like 5 minutes thinking it was a charger. Once I figured out it was a jumper and not a charger and realized the difference, it started right up.

   I had the chance to use it the other day, as overnight temps dipped to -5 F. The bitter cold affected my vehicle battery and it wouldn’t crank over. So, I pulled out my new Scatach 011 3000A Car Battery Jump Starter. I made sure it was fully charged. It managed to get my battery to turn over, and saved me from making a call to my insurance’s Road Side Assistance for a jump. It took me a couple of tries from the fact that the battery lead clamps are bit too short! They plug into the unit as a two-pronged module. The way the battery sits in my van (2011 Honda Odyssey) it is difficult to get to the negative terminal. From the edge of the negative clamp to the module is only 5 inches or 127mm. The positive clamp is just two inches longer at 7 inches or 177.8 mm. If you cannot reach your negative terminal, it’s even harder to reach a good grounding spot. The manufacturer should add at least 4 inches or about 100 mm to that length to make it much easier to use, especially in the cold winter months. Still, the Scatach 011 3000A Car Battery Jump Starter worked and fulfilled its intended use. So, I am very glad I bought it. Hopefully, I won’t have to depend on jumper cables or Road Side Assistance ever again.

   We got this for our pontoon. It is easy to use and a lifesaver on the lake when anyone gets stranded. Great size being it is compact to store on pontoon. Battery life is awesome too.
