   Out of box it rattled and had ( from inside outward) dents in covering. Lights came on when plugged in but didn’t charge, I check w 3 batteries and a volt meter. NO WORK.

   Do Not Recommend Purchasing this charger from any online source. Its a bad design. First, it was DOA right out of the box. When I plugged it in and move it around, sparks were flying out of the vents on the charger casing. I spent 25 minutes on a chat session with ezysurvival.com trying to return it for a refund. They offered a parcel refund and told me I could keep the charger…. I explained to them, the unit was a electrical shock and fire hazard and I demanded a Full refund and told them if they paid for return shipping I would send it back. They escalated to the next of support and agreed to give me a full refund and said I could dispose of the charger as they did not want if back. So I got my refund and my curiosity got the best of me. I opened up the front casing of the charger and found that they used pop-rivets to mount a 10 pound transformer inside the casing. The pop-rivets did not hold and the transformer had broken loose. Several wires were disconnected and some of the wires were damaged. See the picture. One would think as many as these chargers that were DOA, the manufacture would have better quality control or at less investigated and make a design change to prevent this from happening.

    Never jump started anything successfully. Last time I tried, it fried the thing and now doesnt turn on. The return process from Schumacher is a joke. They used to be quality, now it’s just another case of chinesium. I hate writing reviews but this one made me so mad I had to share my experience

    Took a battery that was new but sat in my Winter ride and had completely discharged and had been discharged for months and it has been working perfectly in an Escalade for 2 most now.And that truck uses juice.
