If you want to charge a battery that is below 12VDC DO NOT BUY THIS POS. I used mine for the first time yesterday and it only worked on my car that I just turned off???? So I go to my account and it says the return window is closed after 5 weeks. I will post more information as I continue to test.

Out of the box the system has started and is currently charging my cars correctly. Let’s talk about GEL batteries. Supposedly this charger can not work on Gel batteries according to ezysurvival.com questions. I think it might be able to though. Do NOT take my word but look in to the matter your self. This charger has an AGM battery selection which I believe sends out a lower volt, which is what normal chargers don’t do. AGM and Gel both need the lower volts I think. I have jumped my van with a v8 engine with this charger by charging at 40amp for 30 minutes. The gel battery in the van is a 34/78 Red Top Optima. I am the guinea pig and so far it seems to be working correctly. If this charger can charge Gel and continues to work well then this product is a win… a win in a sea of losers. Good luck!
