   I am so grateful to have found this product! Because of the pandemic, we haven’t been driving our car as regularly and the lack of driving seems to have drained our car battery. After it was drained several times – once from non operation and another from attending a drive in movie – we opted to get this portable battery pack. It’s so fortunate we did as we were moving last weekend and needed to jump start the car while we were transporting a car full of our household items. The device is quite simple to use. Begin by attaching the clamps to the + and – sides of the battery. In the video, you can see the green ‘Correct’ button lights up to assure you the device is connected correctly. Simply apply to the ‘Boost’ button and start the car immediately after. I showed the SUNPOW battery to my dad and he is planning to purchase one for himself. It can even be used to charge cell phones. This is such a wonderful item to have, especially for unforeseen events and road trips. I think it would make a really great gift for anyone who likes to be prepared or who has been inconvenienced by a dead battery. Thank you, SUNPOW!

   this has been a lifesaver more times than I can count. It’s a multipurpose charger, useful for a car battery, or a iPhone or android. It has flashlight function and a broiler oven attached to it (OK I lied about that last part).

   Seriously though, it’s a must have to have in your car to keep your phones charged out in your car charged.

   The sun pow model SP-02 caught my attention power-eating versatility price and customer reviews. Living in New England we experience storms of all all types most of the year. I have a generator for when the power goes out but nothing if my car battery dies which it did this summer. I turned to the internet for suggestions and pulled the trigger on Sun Pow. Not only is it a jump starter for just about every vehicle (unlike some other brands) but it also has a powerful flash light and serves as a power bank for my phone, tablets, and computer. It also comes with a cigarette adapter, all cables needed, a storage case, protection from over charging, hooking the battery cables up wrong plus a 18 month warranty. My unit arrived 69% charged so I plugged it in and in and brought it up to 100% power in about 2-3hours. In the meantime I let my devices power down. When they need it charging I hook them up and recharge all devices to full power and still had 23% charge. I haven’t used the battery jump start yet but I feel it will not let me down and will have plenty of power to do so. Great job SUN POW !

   I bought this in mid 2021 and charged it up. It said to recharge it every 3 months, but I forgot, and in late 2022 I saw it in the back of my car and decided to check the charge. It was at 100% !! After sitting for more than a year. So I just put it away again and didn’t think about it until today, in April 2024. My car wouldn’t start today so I got this out, and it was at 89% !! After not being recharged for almost 3 years! It jump started my car immediately, without using hardly any of its charge. I can’t promise your experience will be just like mine of course, but for what it’s worth, that’s been my experience. I am extremely pleased. Great product. Well made.

   I originally bought the Sunpow Jump Starter for my daughter after she couldn’t start her car after waiting a long time in the ferry boat line in the car holding area. I found out that many newer cars keep the running lights on after the engine is shut down. This is to allow the car passengers to get to the house door without having to search in the dark. The lights will shut off automatically in about a couple of minutes after the car door is opened and shut. However, my daughter never opened her car door, so the lights stayed on, waiting for her to exit the car. Because it was not dark, she didn’t notice that the lights stayed on. Also, she was probably listening to the car radio during this time. A ferry boat person then had to come out to her car to jump start it. I had always carried jumper cables in my car and helped others start their car after waiting a long time for the ferry boat or cars being stranded in a parking lot. Fortunately, I was able to move my car close enough to the stalled cars for the jumper cables to reach. When I received the Sunpow Jump Starter, I was impressed how easy it was to use and how quickly the car started. However, the small size instruction sheet that came with the Sunpow Jump Starter contained a lot of detail, so it could not be quickly understood how to set it up to start the car, especially at a time when a car needed to be started in a hurry. I also bought a Sunpow Jump Starter for myself, so I no longer had to carry jumper cables to jump start cars. I then made a Quick Start Setup Procedure for the Sunpow Jump Starter to keep inside the Sunpow carrying cases, if ever we needed to quickly start a car in the future. A few weeks later, I tried to use my truck which was sitting unused for several weeks. I discovered that it wouldn’t start. I then connected the Sunpow Jump Starter, using the Quick Startup Procedure I had written, and it started right away. It took about 1 minute total, from start to finish to start the truck, in less time than it would take hooking up jumper cables to the car and truck. I decided to include a copy of this procedure in my review so others can copy and print it out to carry in their own Sunpow cases. My daughter also loaded a copy of this procedure onto her mobile phone.
