If you don’t already have a good jump starter battery pack in your car then you should just go ahead and order this item. It’s all you’ll need!
In the box you get the battery pack itself, the battery cable with clamps, a USB-A to micro-USB charging cable, a 12V outlet/cigarette lighter adapter, a small instruction booklet, and a nice zippered storage case to keep everything in.
You can charge up the battery pack using the included micro-USB cable, but the device also has a USB-C port for charging. If you already have USB-C cables and chargers this means you’ll be able to charge the unit twice as fast, and not have to worry about keeping a different type of cable around. Using micro-USB the unit recharges in 4-5 hours, and using USB-C it takes only 2-2.5 hours.
The long edge of the battery pack has a small rubber door that reveals a USB-A, micro-USB, and USB-C port. The micro-USB port is for charging the battery pack only. The USB-A port is for charging your external device only. The USB-C port can be used both to charge the battery pack and to charge your external device. Also along the long side are the battery pack’s screen as well as the power button.
The corners of the long edge feature red lights that can be turned on in place of a roadside flare.
One of the short edges has a rubber door that protects the connection for the jumper cable clamps, as well as a white LED flashlight.
The top of the pack has a pad for wirelessly charging your phone, and a flap that reveals a built-in Lightning cable for charging your Apple device.
Using the unit is super easy. Push the power button and the unit is ready to charge an external device or jump start a car. If you want to jump start a car just plug the battery clamp cable into the unit, and then connect the clamps to the positive and negative posts on the car battery. The screen will display step by step instructions to guide you through the process. You’ll likely start the car on the first try!
Whenever the battery pack is turned on it’s ready to charge things. So if you’re not jump starting a car you can plug in a USB-A or USB-C cable to charge your device, or sit your phone on top for wireless charging. If you have an iPhone or iPad you can just flip open the flap and use the built-in Lightning cable to charge… no need to have any other cables with you.
If you find yourself on the side of the road at night you can use the white flashlight just like a regular flashlight. It can also be switched into a rapidly blinking mode or a SOS in morse code flashing pattern. If you don’t need the flashlight you can turn on the red hazard lights and sit the unit on the side of the road like a flare. The red hazard lights also have the rapidly flashing and SOS modes.
This is a great item to keep in your trunk or glovebox. Not only can it charge your car, but you can also help out somebody else without needing to connect jumper cables to your own car. Even when you don’t need to use the jump starting feature it still works great as a flashlight, hazard light, and regular power bank.

I work in public safety and frequently get called for cars with dead batteries stalled on the side of the road. I keep this bad boy charged at all times and within arms reach. I have jumped trucks that were completely dead in a matter of seconds. You will need to charge it after every jump but while stored, it keeps a charge for a loooong time. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about this thing. I love it and it can easily fit in the glove box.

I have purchased one for every car, I have used it every time the car battery dies, and able to assist other people with battery problems at night.
It’s an integral part of my tools now

I keep this in my car and the several times I went to use it, including yesterday, it was dead. I had charged it about a month ago. By contrast, my wife has a Weego 44s jump starter and it is always fully charged, despite being stored in a car that is frequently subfreezing. The Type S also takes a long time to charge via USB. The Type S might be appropriate if you live in a warm climate or just keep it in the house. But don’t count on it to be charged when you need it most. The Weego 44s is a better and more reliable alternative.
