   I have always had jumper cables in my truck in case myself or someone else was in need. But this jump box is the best thing to replace those. This has plenty of power to jump my diesel truck, and it is more convenient to add someone else in need. Comes with a pretty solid carrying case that has easy to follow instructions, so in a pinch you can just hand it off to someone else. My only complaint is I wish the cables were longer, by just a few inches.

   This is going straight in my emergency kit for road trips, and I’m very tempted to get another one strictly for the house for the connectivity/light alone.

   If you’ve ever been stuck on the road in the winter with a jump battery that‘s three days from retirement, you know exactly what this is for. This will let you try to jump your car with a helpful flashlight right there, then let you turn on an LED glare and charge your phone twice while you huddle under the Mylar blanket all, “this is really not how I expected my trip to Arizona to go.”

   Capacity on this is *great*, and I would trust it for 3-4 jumps and a few hours not having to choose between having everyone’s phones topped up and keeping the bright, bright flare light going. It’s not quite big enough to get you an AC outlet, but if that’s what you’re after, you want a different product category entirely.

   So far, I’m impressed with device charging and how bright the LEDs get. I haven’t had to jump the car yet, but give the weather a minute.

   My 35′ motorhome has a 6.8L V10 motor, the Jeep I tow behind it has a 3.0L diesel. My BIL tows a large travel trailer with his large F250 equipped with a diesel. He’s had a battery failure at a campground, and my regular jump pack lacked the necessary amperage to get his truck started. Ultimately, I had to pull up next to him with my SUV (at the time), and use jumper cables. This was difficult as I had already hitched up to the trailer we were towing. With this monster jump pack, I’ll be able to easily start any of our vehicles. It’s several times larger than the sub $100 packs. The pack has a couple of useful lights, and multiple jacks for charging smart devices. It even came in a very nice storage container.

   11/2/22 Update: The original text review is included below. A new video is uploaded that shows both the failure mode AND a sucessful start of a 6.8L V10 gas engine (RV). I hope this video helps anyone that finds themselves stranded and needs this battery charger to work! I believe there is a faulty battery monitoring circuit that sometimes keeps the power bank from working properly. There is plenty of power in this power bank, If it can start a 6.8L V10 gas engine and use less than 1% of it’s charge, I think it will handle just about any situation. The problem is the monitoring circuit keeps it from working sometimes. Perhaps seeing both a failure and success will help save someone some troubleshooting time. I’ve tried several tests with this power bank and this video shows the only way I’ve gotten it to (sometimes) work! The original review is below: ……………………………………………………………………………………………………. To test the battery starter, I connected it to an RV with a V10 6.8L engine. Interestingly I tested 4 battery starters and the 2 cheapest ones passed, the 2 biggest and most expensive failed! The jumper cables are a massive 6AWG, thicker than any other battery I’ve seen! The battery clamps are also larger than other battery packs I looked at. The casing looks rugged and has a nice big digital display, but none of this matters because the starter battery failed to start the RV! I tried this test multiple times to make sure my connections were ok, and I confirmed with 2 units that worked under the exact same conditions AND with lower specs than this unit. This looks like a very good unit, but I’ve tried everything I can and it has failed. I can’t risk that on the road! This is very disappointing because the size and weight suggests a very powerful power bank. However I got the error message (in video review) everytime I tried to use it!

   I’ve used this multiple times for my RV that’s been sitting to long. Starts right up with a jump from the Power Bank. Just follow the direction on the screen when prompted. Easy to use and it’s small size makes it easy to carry.
