   Just the ticket, I had a problem with my VW camper and couldn’t get it in the garage for a week. This little beauty was a life saver. Very easy to use and fired the van up straight away, turns out my alternator had gone so the battery wasn’t getting charged. A great little jumper at a reasonable price, comes in a nice little case with enough room for everything, it even has a handy little light on the unit itself so you can see what your doing and where to clip the cables on, also you can use it as a battery pack to charge your phone etc so long as you have the right cable for it, very happy.

    First and foremost, I’ll admit that when this jump starter arrived, it wasn’t what I expected. It’s the size of a large cell phone! I’m learning that the tech has come a long way since my last jump starter purchase… This Vtomax comes in a small, tidy case, with its wires neatly wrapped up and a clear instruction manual. It fits perfectly behind the seat in one of the pockets, or even in the glove box. The fit and finish of its design and construction is rather excellent, as well, with clean seams, a durable, hard case, and quality connectors for the battery output. The unit charged up quickly out of the box from a normal USB brick, and everything has worked as intended from the start. I had to wait a bit to use it, as I don’t have dead batteries all that often. HOWEVER…one day recently, my old Jeep needed a jump, and I grabbed this to put it to the test. I hooked it up, powered it on, and gave it about 3 minutes on the half-dead battery before turning the key. To my delight, the Jeep turned over just fine. Furthermore, the unit only drained a single LED in the process, suggesting that it’s got plenty more juice to do it again and a solid internal battery life. Altogether, this is a great value for $40 or so. It’s made very well, looks great, it’s compact, and fully functional. Grab one for your car for that rainy day, because when you need it, you’ll wish you had it!
