   I like this unit so far. Installation was straight forward. I replaced a mechanical battery isolator made by Cooper Industries (Sure Power 1314) with the Battery Doctor. I like this unit’s ability to Isolate and Bridge batteries as necessary on the fly. Works as advertised and the user selected option are convenient. Instructions are good and simple. Make sure you install a circuit breaker/Fuse on the AUX battery as denoted in the instructions. It needs to be 150 Amp. I installed this unit on my Polaris Ranger. Pictures included. I don’t drive my Ranger every day so the 30 mA standby power draw is a concern. So as stated in the instructions insert a switch between the unit and the Ground. Black wire with ring.

   I’ve been using this for over a year now. My primary battery is an Odyssey Extreme which is the starting battery, and I have a smaller Braille AGM that runs the winch, emergency lighting, and siren/PA. This reliably charges the secondary while preventing unwanted discharge from the primary. It only charges once the main is fully charged just like it should. The override also works well and is easy to use, so the secondary can charge the primary like a jumpstarter if needed.

   My previous battery isolator failed. When I looked at replacing it the same make/model I had was only $30 so was definitely cheap & nasty. I bought this WirthCo item based on other reviews. Installation instructions were dead easy. Item worked first go & hasn’t missed a beat. Similar devices were much more expensive so this was good value for money.

   Seems like a great product . I installed this and first thing on start up it had a flashing red light. look though the instruction and this code indicates its wired wrong. Well i triple check all my wiring and could not find any problems . So i let that lay aside and started the rig and got the voltage up to where it should of cut in and start charging, but that was a no go to. So i called their tech support and they were great,, however this Produit will not work with a lithium ion battery they said. otherwise really like how it installed.

   This thing is amazing. I have it in my sidexside and it works perfectly. Keeps my batteries both charged and as an added bonus it allows me to boost my main battery if ever needed by just pushing a button.

   It’s been almost a year now since i’ve installed this in my Can Am, and it still works flawlessly and has saved me twice now with the Boost feature.
   once due to my main battery going dead on the trail and I was able to boost myself to start up and drive home.
   Second time, I parked my Can Am for an extended time during cold winter months and forgot to remove my batteries. I went out to start and it was way too dead. One little push of the button and my Machine sprang to life and I was off and running.
   I will 100% buy more of these to install in my truck,boat and Wifes Polaris as soon as the price settles back down. I paid $83 for mine in April 2019
