   this is a GREAT jump pack! It’s HEAVY and a bit larger than others, which should NOT be taken as a negative. There’s a direct correlation between battery weight, size, and power availability/capacity for lithium batteries (just like there is with lead acid) so an ultralight battery is compromising the ability to store electricity. I hooked this up to my old analog battery capacity tester and it never put out under ~12.5 volts while testing- that’s impressive! It also started the tired old 350 in my 1979 C10, so I think it’s safe to say it should start almost any modern car or truck. It also has a “boost” button on the battery clamp connector, which is critical for these. Without the boost button, if you have deeply discharged or completely dead battery (or no battery at all), the jump pack can’t sense if the battery clamps are connected correctly or not, and it therefore won’t deliver power. That’s a great safety feature, but it’s critical to be able to bypass that when necessary so you can jump a vehicle with a completely dead battery. And lastly, unlike most of the jump packs on here- IT HAS A CARRYING CASE!! Hallelujah! Somehow that’s a rare accessory to be included with these, but this one has it!

   I’m very pleased with my choice of the Jump Starter by YESPER. Powerful, feature packed, easy to use, solidly built & great packaging all come to mind when I think of my new Car Battery Jump Starter. Model #YJS40 is designed for all gasoline vehicles with a 12V system and diesel up to 10.0L, which makes it almost universal. I love the “Boost Start Button” which gives me the peace mind that a 100% Dead Battery can be started. Many other jump starters do not have this feature. Flashlights are good and YESPER has one. The YESPER can be utilized to charge other devices (i.e. smartphones, tablets, etc), as it has both a USB-C port and 2-USB-A ports as well as a cigarette lighter adapter. This gives me the ability to plug anything into the Jump Starter that may need a cigarette adapter plug. This is a big plus as you could plug many other devices into this jump starter with this feature! Peak current output for starting reaches a maximum of 4120 amps, more than enough to do most any job. Since the YESPER is powered by Lithium Polymer battery cells, I am pleased that it s made of fire-proof ABS material. The operation temperature range is -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. This is peace of mind being an Arizona resident where temperatures in direct sunlight regularly exceed 110 degrees June through September! Weighing in at just 1.7 lbs, this product is a cinch to pick up, carry & store in your vehicle for future use. Speaking of storage, the hard zippered case is fantastic and I really appreciate the protection that it provides to my Jump Starter. This Jump Starter is rated to be able to provide up to 60 starts per charge. This is a great feature as I know that I won’t be forever charging it once used. In summary, I can find nothing that I dislike about this Jump Starter and everything that I do like about it. I have assigned a FIVE STAR rating to this product by YESPER!

   There is a YouTube channel called “The Farm Project.” The channel is owned by man who reviews tools, and things a person uses in their workshop, or on their cars, and then other more household type appliances as well.

   He selects several brands of the same product and then compares the brands. His evaluations are very methodical using “engineer-type-methods.” (Hmm, maybe he is an engineer..) It is a great channel if you haven’t checked it out. So this particular brand performed well, and is in the good price range. So I bought it. To give to my niece who is shopping for a car. It’s still in the box frankly.

   But I just thought I’d write a review and say that it was recommended by a reviewer on YouTube who has a very thorough process of evaluating and comparing items..

   So I’m giving it five stars, even though I’ve never used it, just because of the impressive lengths he goes to to prove a product worthy….
