   Reviewed: YESPER 12V/24V Car Jump Starter, 6000A Peak 5.1 lbs Portable Jump Starter Battery Pack Quick Charge with AC Adapter 36400mAh Battery Booster Pack (Up to All Gas/Diesel Engine) Jumper Box The short review bellow: Battery capacity in tablet terms: I would say this could recharge a new ipad (40 Whrs) from 0 to full about 2 to 3 times. Jump starting capacity: It is amazing, even a small tiny 1.5 Whr battery pack I have tested in the past was able to jump start a vehicle with a repleaded – but not absent battery. This one will certainly start a car with no battery at all if put in bypass mode. —– a few more details bellow —– This thing has a very large Lithium battery inside with 3.7v, 12v and 24v taps. It uses two 70 amp relays to get that power to the cables depending on what button you press. It has a 30 second safety shutdown when jump starting to make sure they don’t catch fire when you are in manual override mode. I’m always baffled on how they rate the battery capacity, but it seems like it’s always done on the 3.7-5v area of the battery. I took it apart to make sure I was able to test the cpacity correctly. I discharged the battery with a battery capacity meter from 16v to 10v and measured about 66 Whrs of capacity that can be used for starting in 12v mode. The battery was at 25% after this and I re-charged with the USB-C port overnight and it took 115 Whrs. The sticker on the back looks more than reasonable stating that it has a capacity of 136 Whrs. -1 star for not having a cooling fin or plate that exits to the outside of the case. This would make it more difficult to waterproof, but excess heat is a concern. I would generally also take off another star for overstating the capacity, but in this case it’s not clear what the use case would be, charger or jump starter. The price is not bad, make sure you get the 20% coupon though. Then it is competitively priced.

   Don’t buy unless you only plan to use once,.. it will only charge once… mine will now only charge to 1/4 or the 1st bar. What a waste!!! If you like more throw away items this is for you… and get one for the next time you need it as well. Sorry, it sucks for this $$

   I bought it purposely to start my freightliner cascadia semi truck but disappointed when it failed to do the job but when i tried it on small car yes it work as described.

   Also capable of doing 24 volt along with 12 volt.
   Cars are 12 volt and most semi trucks run on 24.this thing is a beast,right out of the box easly jump my 2 cars.

   This review is for the YESPER 12V/24V Car Jump Starter I’ve seen positive reviews of other YESPER jump starters, so I thought I would give this a try. I got this jump starter about a month ago. I’ve used it to just start a whole house generator. I just got the generator and was trying to get it to run using propane. It was not easy. I had to turn the generator over and over with the electric start. I had this jump started attached to the battery so I didn’t run the battery down. On the battery alone, the generator sounded tired when it was turning over. This jump started gave it some vigor. It turned the generator easily by itself, but after a few tried it shut down to avoid over heating. Tonight I decided to try it on my car. I detached my battery and tried a few of my jump starters. This one was clearly the most powerful of them all and turned over my V6 with ease! The jump starter can be charged with a USB-C cable or the included power supply. This jump starter is necessarily big. It is well designed, but there is no place to put the dedicated charger. I’m glad they included a fast charge option, but I am not sure where to store it. Over all, it is an amazing jump starter!

   Sometimes the jump starter charges and most of the times it does not charge, and it can only handle a medium duty truck, and it is completely drained afterwards. This is the second time we try this product, because the first one we purchased, the jump starter would not charge at all.
