   This jump starter is NICE! it is compact enough to keep in the car and not take up a whole lot of space! I decided to get this after my car battery died and if I wasn’t home I would’ve had to find someone to help! This will save me in the future if my battery dies!    Let me start by saying I love that this comes in a nice hard-sided zipper storage box to protect it from getting broken in the car or to keep pieces from getting lost. I bought this because it seems easier for me to keep in the car when I’m on the road with my kids- I have had to replace my car battery twice in the last 5 years and both times what happens is I come out of work or the store and my car won’t start. This is so small and easy to hook up I don’t have to grab a huge pair of jumper cables and walk around asking people to help me jump start my car with theirs. The cables have a spark protection so they don’t throw sparks if they get touched together like a normal pair of jumper cables. It just seems a lot safer to me and so much easier to put on the battery and click a button to start the car. It does have a very bright emergency light to help you see under the hood or alert others that you are there in the dark. The light has 3 settings-  regular bright light, SOS and strobe light. The machine automatically shuts off on its own after 60 seconds of inactivity so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on.

I can see myself bringing this as part of my camping gear since it also has the function of a flashlight. The led screen shows how much charge it has. Love this thing and highly recommend it!
